Hillary Clinton continues to carry $7.5 million of debt owed to vendors from her failed presidential bid which ended in early June, her campaign finance report covering the month of October shows.

Even though the election is over, Clinton can continue to raise money for unpaid bills, as long as contributors clearly designate their contributions as being specially for retiring presidential campaign debt. There's no time limit on how long a candidate can carry debt.

She was busy raising 10 freaking million dollars for Obama during the entire GE instead of giving attention to her own debt. Give her a break.

Pay up Hillary. You have the money. Most of us don't.

I have said it before, and I will say it again: I will never give one red cent to help her offset her mismanaged campaign debt. Never.

I wonder how many small vendors were bilked by her campaign. She is an embarrassment.

When Bill and Hillary first ran I voted for them. I really didn't have that much of a choice. Deep inside there was a sneaky element to the Clintons. Sorry, but I just don't trust either of them. Yes, they campaigned for Obama and believe me, it wasn't because they had any love or respect for PE Obama. They had to unite the party. It was to their interest. I don't feel sorry for the Clintons. By the way, I contributed a little money to Hillary's campaign to retire her debt because PE Obama wanted his supporters to do so. I don't dislike the Clintons, I just don't trust them. Hillary is a drama Queen and Bill is a drama King. I would be glad when the media finally dethrones them both. The media is partly responsible for the Clintons drama.

If her 18 million cracks can contribute fifty cents each, this debt would go away. I, for one, refuse to contribute one cent to her or Mark Pi gPenn. I'll give to BO, MoveOn and even the DNC - but not this!

And??? Why is this still even a story?!!! If she's waiting for BO supporters (like me) to pay off Mark Penn's debt, she'll be dragging that ball around VERY long time!

What about poor Peter F.Paul? Maybe she should have given his millions back. Karma?

She should carry this debt until she can pay it off....she should have gotten out in April instead of moving the goalposts, and lending her campaign money.......let's call it a 7.5M lesson, you can't stop CHANGE when people want it.

Just why is she in debt? With all this talk about Bill's huge earnings around the world. Let him pay it off! Why should BHO or the taxpayers or anyone else take care of the debt from her ill-conceived campaign?

I still get emails from Hill asking for donations. Evidently, Obama shared his donators list with Hill. I made one contribution when O asked, I don't know if I will make another one. I heard the remaining debt was for Mark Penn, I'm not intrested in paying him anything. I'm hoping she paid off the small business owners owed, that was my concerned when I donated.

Where are Hills dieheart supporters, why won't they donate. I don't think they were so much pro Hill, but anti Barack. Frankly, I'm sick of the "Pay of Hillary's Debt " Drama.

I'm sorry to hear it is still that high, but I'm happy to hear that it has dwindled to about half of what it was when she lost the primary.

I supported Barack Obama, but I did contribute to her when he asked us to do so. I think it's terribly sad that more of her supporters don't cough up a few bucks to take care of this. At this point, it would be less than 50 cents for each of those who voted for her.

Bill Clinton is giving a talk on the global economic crisis in London, Ontario next week, maybe he can use the cash from that to pay off his wife's debt. No doubt he had a hand in her staying in the game long after it was obvious she had lost.
