Neil Cavuto, Ben Stein Shout Their Way Through Discussion of Bailout

The pain that the financial crisis is causing ordinary Americans was greatly exacerbated on Fox News this past Saturday, as Neil Cavuto and Ben Stein used the topic to yell at each other at the top of their lungs until they both went into lactic acid shock. It's tough to get a fix on the fine points of each man's position, probably because they don't seem to have any: Stein's in favor of government stimulus to forestall a further economic downturn, and Cavuto just wants the government to do nothing, I guess. Like I said, it's hard to tell. At one point Stein accuses Cavuto of using a "post hoc, ergo propter hoc" fallacy, and Cavuto responds "We're pre-hocking! We're pre-hocking!" Later, he quizzically asks Stein, "You're so convinced of it! You're so convinced of it!" Yes, Neil, he is. That is why he is yel-ling! It gets crazier from there. Straight up CRAZIER. About three minutes in, I think Kristin Wiig shows up, trying out a new character who pulls her hair and wails, "We did nothing in '29! We made a mistake!"

Anyway, this is like a Quentin Tarantino helmed edition of Bloggingheads, minus the kitschy soundtrack.
