Amy Winehouse Back In Hospital

LONDON — Amy Winehouse's spokesman says the troubled singer is being treated at a clinic following a reaction to medication.

Chris Goodman says Winehouse was admitted to the London Clinic on Sunday. He declined to identify the medication that caused the reaction.

The 25-year-old Grammy winner has a history of drug problems and has been in and out of hospitals this year.

On Monday, a British court rejected an appeal by Winehouse's husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, against his sentence for assault and obstructing justice. The judges urged him to continue making progress at a drug rehabilitation center.

Why doesn't Amy's dad get a conservatorship over her like Britney's dad did??? I hope Amy doesn't die, because of drugs. I saw a pic of her before she started going downhill. She was actually attractive.

Many people find reality very unfair. A lot of art is born from pain, & I think they use stuff to cope. I drank 14 years.
I know many artists, & most of them see more than average people. I mean, in one minute they'll see a child, a bus, a junkie, & more. Too much input into their brain, & chemicals bring it down a notch.
Also, 12 steps don't work for people who don't want to be religious. God is a big part of those programs. Most city jails support 12 steps & people aren't often given the secular treament option.

Do you guys just have this story saved to bring out every few weeks? How many times has she been hospitalized?

I saw her live once and thought she s.ucked but she is really talented and has such an amazing voice. It is really a tragedy that she seems so lost. The whole time I was watching her concert all I could think was please someone force feed her a sandwich or something. It was creepy how thin she was.

I hope she gets help.
