OK! Magazine Misspells Ashlee Simpson's Name As "Ashley" On Its Cover

OK! Magazine misspelled the name of new mom Ashlee Simpson on its latest cover.

The cover, which features Reese Witherspoon, includes a sidebar which reads, "Ashley & Pete - It's A Boy!"

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz welcomed baby Bronx Mowgli last week.

In the past year, OK! has been caught lying about actor Eric Dane's cancer, recycling a 2003 photo to demonstrate Britney Spears' weight loss, and cropping Eva Longoria out of a photo to suggest that Jennifer Aniston and Orlando Bloom were dating — all on the magazine's cover.

Why is the Huffington Post making any not of a spelling or grammar mistake in a headline? How many have been on this site in the past week?

if anyone from huffpo reads this post. too many of the stories in the media section are really entertainment stories. then to fill this page there are pretty lame items like this.

if huffpo made a better effort to cover the media, where they spread misleading "facts", agendas, links to powerful people and how that influences coverage and pushed back on dubious talking points, we'd be better informed, you'd be more influencial. the entertainment page might then included slightly more interesting items.
