Sam's Club CEO Sees Black Friday Sales, Traffic Up

Black Friday sales and store traffic will rise this year as U.S. consumers who delayed purchases in the past few weeks finally head to stores to take advantage of retail deals, the chief executive of Sam's Club said Tuesday.

"In the past few weeks, people have been waiting for (Black) Friday and the prices that they're going to see between now and Christmas," Doug McMillon, who heads Sam's Club, the warehouse club division of discount retail behemoth Wal-Mart Stores Inc (nyse: WMT - news - people ), told Reuters in an interview.
