I Like ItI Don’t Like It

Juan Angel Guerra, the Texas DA who indicted both Vice President Dick Cheney and former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales recently revealed the evidence that led him to the indictment in the case that he had codenamed "Operation Goliath". Cheney is accused of responsibility in prisoner abuse because of his financial ties to the Vanguard Group, which invests in private prison companies. Guerra estimates that Cheney has $85 million invested in Vanguard, a financial stake that Guerra says motivated the vice president to halt a 2006 investigation into a prisoner's death.

Capone was finally arrested because of his income taxes, too. How fitting.

Impeachment is too light.

The work he's done for Vanguard shouldn't be covered under his VP immunity.

Send the P ri ck to one of his own poorly run prisons.

Extradite to the Hague. Do a complete investigation. Let them deal with them. They'll give them the punishment they deserve.

If Cheney goes to federal prison I wonder if he'll be allowed conjugal visits with Lynn.

In advance of your thanks for that image I say "you're welcome".

Is anyone really surprised that Cheney and Gonzalez are involved criminally? And is anyone really surprised that Cheney OWNS prisons? Let's lock him up in one and see if he likes it!

Bush can't pardon state charges, but his friend, the governor can.

Becky is hot hot hot. I had trouble paying attention to what she was saying. Something about an investigation that promises to produce absolutely no indictments? Business as usual? Oh man she is hot.

Cheney's Neo Con gang outed a CIA agent and her front company, Brewster Jennings. These assets were working to protect Americans by keeping up with critical technologies in the Middle East. Cheney's holy grail, the PNAC, rationalized lethal preemption but didn't address pesky obstructionism by patriot agents, let alone the facts contained in the N.I.E. The truth got in the way of totalitarianism.

It would be very wrong to allow under any circumstances a traitor, or traitors, to walk free. In this case a presidential pardon should mean nothing, as it's recipient was caught in the act of the worst treason of all: A war on democracy and the creation of a fascist state.

Pardons should only be granted to Americans-not subverters bent on killing freedom and justice.

The People would have every right to do what the Founders would have done under these circumstances. Obama must know there are some things left unobstructed in the defense of country and Constitution. Cheney et al leave no wiggle room for any measure of compromise.

Since I'm still recovering from the belated effects of the whole Illuminati, Bilderberg, 911, ufo conspiracy, I'll be brief. Quit trying to prove that you're smarter than the average bear. This connect-the-dot obssession, on both sides, is best left to the professionals. They are very aware what the stakes are.

So, not to be condescending, stop and think what your priorities are. Could your time be better spent deciding on an issue that you are passionate about and directing your intelligence and energy there. Think about it.

To whom are you speaking? We know what this guy has done already. Don't tell people what to do or think or to investigate. If anything happens to Guerra, don't believe it was innocent. Take action.

There's something I don't understand about all the greed. Especially when the perpetrator might not live long enough to enjoy the spoils.

Ha! Remember those children's stories. They should have prepared us for this. The word starts with an e, ends with an l, and there is a letter v in it. It is a four letter word and the one voul is an i. The word means the opposite of good.

With much regret, I don't see this going anywhere. . .but maybe this is the first small stone to be chipped out of the pedestal. I see the humor in why it's called "Operation Goliath".

Don't look for Congress to do anything about this; Ms. Pelosi doesn't have the guts or has something to hide herself. Her refusal to let impeachment hearings proceed has always been incomprehensible to me. It'll be up to the court system to catch and try these criminals, but with all the "loyal bushies" in the "Justice" Department, including Mukasey, I don't expect any indictments on the federal level.
