UPDATE: WORKER DIES: Worker dies at Long Island Wal-Mart after being trampled in Black Friday stampede

Shocking video from a Long Island Wal-Mart shows police officers giving a trampled worker CPR. The man died a short while later.

Throngs of Black Friday shoppers stampeded the man as they rushed into the Green Acres mall in Valley Stream minutes before it opened.

"When the doors opened, all hell broke loose," a law enforcement source told The Post.

An unidentified man, believed to be a store employee who tried to restrain the oncoming juggernaut, was knocked to the ground at 5:03 a.m

Just another of the HUNDREDS of reasons not to patronize Wal Mart under ANY circumstances. They've got nothing there you can't live without, and the store is the EPITOME of everything that's wrong in the USA!

The comments on that page are absolutely disgusting!! What a despicable display of the worst side of humanity by some of those posters.
It's tragic that this occured, I hope that these stores find a better way of controlling the crowds they face on days like today so that no one else suffers the same fate.
