Tourism Business Booming In Obama's Chicago

ABC News:

Despite the cold weather and biting wind, out-of-town guests, as usual, on Thanksgiving weekend, are hitting the sites in Chicago, America's third-largest city -- including the Sears Tower, Wrigley Field and the Lake Michigan waterfront.

But this year, they are hitting some newly ascendant Windy City hotspots -- including Hyde Park Hair Salon & Barber Shop, Manny's Deli, 57th Street Books, Valois Cafeteria and Medici on 57th -- all allegedly frequented by hometown boy Barack Obama, who was elected president three weeks ago.

This is good. Chicago will have museum to garner revenue with. Obama will be historic regardless of whether he is the best president in the United States, or the worst. He'll be the first african-american to reach the TOP. There will be tourists coming to see his hometown for the next fifty years, at the very least. Now, if only the country could go and elect an Italian. We have Senators, Representatives, and Supreme Court Justices. All we need now is the Presidency.

But the thing is, the recession cum depression is going to be blamed on Obama in the coming years. Thing about such talk, though, is some of O's supporters just won't be having that. Limbaugh/H­annity/Sav­age et ilk can blame Gore and Clinton based on ridiculous premises and the meek Colmes types squeak out tepid responses, but we a got a new sheriff, and his deps gonna come down on the slanderers.
