NEW YORK — Britney Spears is taking her "Circus" act on the road.

In an appearance on ABC's "Good Morning America," the pop star announced that her North American arena tour will open March 3 in New Orleans. Her new album, "Circus," arrived Tuesday, on her 27th birthday.

It is Spears' first tour in five years as she gains career momentum and stability in her personal life. Spears, who sang her hit "Womanizer" on "GMA," begins rehearsals next month.

Spears' 27-city itinerary includes Atlanta, Miami, Boston, Houston, Dallas, Minneapolis, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. She'll close the tour April 28 in Chicago.

She will jump to London for performances on June 3-4.

Britney looks great on this performance, as she"s in a sexier shape than she was during the recent MTV VMA performance. It was the star"s first comeback T.V performance. I don't know why she isn't dancing more, I saw the for the record and know she can still dance.

Sick country. Or world. No wonder Sarah Palin's 15 minutes STILL aren't up!

She was on Good Morning America this morning with her much ballyhooed comeback/promotion of her new 'Circus' album.

SHE SUCKED!!! Her backup dancers were WAYYYYYY better than she was. She was shuffling around trying to make sure she hit her marks. It was very reminiscent of her performance on the MTV music awards before her big meltdown.

Somebody get a stretcher!

Someone has too much time on their hands that they can compare Britney Spears TV appearances just of the top of their pointy little head.
Good Job.
I hope you made it to home room on time.

Or, it might just be used to look up useless crap entertainment gossip and rot brains the way television does. - Realist Me

So from this am I to derive that Yahoo gets used only by yahoos? I've certainly never used it. I've used Google. And I haven't looked for any of what's on the Yahoo top ten list. I've googled Connie Hines (in case any of HuffPo's users know who she is), Alexander Woollcott (heard of him?), Ben Bernie, Ernie Hare, and the Warner Bros. cartoons "Have You Got Any Castles?" and "You're an Education".

Basically, it would be justified if Sarah Palin was the #1 Yahoo search (with or without the turkey video), but Britney Spears doesn't deserve it.

II read the inane piece on Britney on the Daily Beast. The girl actually has the guts to show her interior life. It's called pop culture, people. Get with it. I give her credit.

So now we know that Yahoo search engine users are basically idiots.

And I haven't searched for any of those topics, let alone "yahoo'd" them ...
