For the record -- Britney Spears' MTV special did pretty good Sunday night.
"Britney: For The Record" averaged 3.7 million total viewers at 10 p.m.
It also pulled in a 3.5 rating in the network's target demo of persons 12-34, tripling the time period average in that demo and all others.

When I saw the new Rolling Stone yesterday I practically gagged. She's on the cover!?!?!? This is the same cover that has featured Barack Obama many times. RS has sunk to new low.

They've been hard-pressed finding the ' next big act ' to stripmine ( even propping up an entire reality show build around that vapid purpose ), and they're running on empty. So they prop up these tried and tested ( yet since abandoned ) media products again.
