In an interview with Karl Rove this morning, Matt Lauer brought up President Bush's recent interview with Charlie Gibson, where the president stated, "I'm sure some people voted for Barack Obama because of me." Lauer goes on to address Bush's low approval ratings and ask Bush's Brain, "What went wrong?"

Rove sighs and avoids the question, but when pressed Rove responds, "Look... at the end of eight years --Republicans or Democrats, when they've had the White House-- people tire of it." Rove then tries to move past the question.

Matt Lauer starts the trouble at 4:15 in the clip below.

Inaccurate information and more spin.

Reagan approval leaving office was 63%
Clinton approval leaving office was 65%

Bush is in the 20s

This war criminal will spend the rest of his shabby life attempting -- in vain -- to rewrite one of the worst chapters in American history.

Do they allow pencils and notepads in The Hague?

I want to see Rove choke on his own venomous spit.

That's a little gruesome, considering we're against the death penalty.

Indict Rove! Indict Rove! Indict Rove! Keep him out of politics forever! Fear Mongering jerk! What a laugh about not going into Iraq if the truth were known! They were going into Iraq with or without evidence...that is why they created it! Indict all of them fo it!

The most extreme far right should chain him in one of their churches and make him practice what he preaches and W right by his side. Isn't it ironic that Bush won two elections on fear mongering and being a good Christian but hasn't frequented one of the nearby Capitol churches??? He does private church at Camp David, yeah right!

Due to Karl Rove bringing churches & religion into politics, all churches should now be taxed! This may just help the economy!

Tax the churches!

Wow, Karl Rove lives in a fantasy world of his own making! Tire of presidents? WTF? Thankfully, there is enough audio, video and written documentation of this 8 year blunder that was the Wubya dictatorship so people will remember how grossly inadequate this "president" truly was. I just hope that in future elections, the American people will use their intelligence to elect their representatives, instead of being afraid and voting based on that fear. May we never again be persecuted for having differing opinions regarding the way our country is run! I don't know which person was responsible for the most wrongdoing in the last 8 years, but I do know that Karl Rove, being the "architect" should have to answer for the despicable things he orchestrated. I'm looking forward to the Obama/Biden run. It's as refreshing as a cold drink on a hot day!

People don't tire of good presidents, FDR got elected for 5 terms and Gore could have been elected if Bush and Rove did not steal the elections from him. In 2004 Bush and Rove pandered through fear and it worked. Americans are tired of being afraid and voting against their interests. I hope Rove goes to jail for his acts of treason. If he does then there is a God out there.

People don't tire of a President, what they tire of is someone playing at President that makes about as much sense as the town drunk ranting over his beer at the corner saloon.

It has nothing to do with 8 years, Republican or Democrat . .. People are tired of the Karl Rove Fear Mongering. I am not scared! It is his policy's that have helped Bush with his approval rating. Bush fired Karl . .but it was to late for him to save his legacy. Bush will be know as the president who screamed, "BE SCARED! VERY SCARED!"

Only in America. This guy is a criminal thug and he's welcomed on talk shows as though he's some great American. I guess we're supposed to think our eyes and ears have been playing tricks on us for the past eight years.
