Jennifer Aniston continues her push for this month's "Marley & Me" and graces the next issue of Entertainment Weekly, excerpted on E!. Inside she disses her last magazine cover, that of Vogue.

The cover (seen below) pulled out a quote from Aniston regarding Angelina Jolie.

On her Vogue quote ("What Angelina did was very uncool") being taken out of context :
"I was just surprised that Vogue would go so tabloid. I was bummed. But you almost expect it. Big deal. Done. Next."

On the rumors that she's carrying boyfriend John Mayer's baby: "Oh my God, it's hysterical . It's almost going to take away the fun from actually being able to say one day, 'I'm pregnant!'"

On motherhood being in her future:
"I'm on the verge of it in some way--or it's something I long for."

On Her Split With Pitt:
"'The Hollywood fairy tale romance'--that's what's put onto it. It's Luke and Laura. But if you strip away all of the glitz and the glamour and the headlines--the shock and awe of it--it's just people living their life. S--t happens, and it's as normal as any other human being if you take away the headlines. It's just not as interesting without the headlines."

On What She Perceived as a Hit Piece By the New York Times' Caryn James in 2006 [here]:
"It was so venomous. It was like, who f---ing s--t in her Wheaties? How do these people get the opportunity to just spew s--t? They don't know anything. You know, career choices -- you just do what you do. Not everyone's a winner. Not every episode of Friends was great. Not every guy you choose is great. Just across the board, there's so much expectation."

She's nearly 40 years old, I hope her fresh start includes stop playing Rachel Green in every role she takes. That character was boring, superficial and stale long before the Friends series finished. Nobody really wants the same character being played by a 40 year old pretending to be a 20 something always talking about relationships that don't work out.

How many times is this fraud gonna tell the public that she's gonna pop one out? She fed her husband that line for the entire period of their marriage. Then after the divorce she fed the public that line for every interview she had during her pity party ride. In fact, back in 2004 she said in one of her pity party interviews that within five years she would pop one out. We're now entering the fifth year of that "promise" and she's still feeding her gulible fans and other low-self-esteem women that same drivel. LOL

Just grow the fcuk up byotch!

I always wonder why she talks like she's a teenage girl, she sounds ridiculous!

You're so right. Cmar's adolescent rantings do begin to grate after a while, don't they? I'll be so glad when she gets through puberty. Maybe she'll even grow up enough to remove the 146 pictures of Brad Pitt from her locker and replace them with a tasteful "Hang in There!" poster. That kitten clinging to a tree branch gets me every time.

Wow, welcome to the new millenium, where a woman's reproductive choices still define her with a small, narrow-minded segment of the population. Here's a quesrter cmar... now go buy yourself a clue.

She has a point about Vogue using an out-of-context quote for the cover blurb, obviously knowing it would sell magazines. Good for her for calling them out.

WHY IS EVERYONE BEING SO CRITICAL OF JENNIFER ANISTON? THE MAGAZINES KEEP ASKING HER THE SAME QUESTION. WHY DONT THEY ASK BRANGELINA? ALSO ANGELINA JOLIE WHILE ALWAYS BEING FAMOUS, DIDNT REACH THIS TYPE OF STARDOM UNTIL SHE BECAME THE OTHER WOMAN.. LETS NOT FORGET THAT. WHO REMEMBERS READING MUCH ABOUT HER PRIOR BRAD PITT? SHE IS KNOWN FOR BREAKING UP RELATIONSHIPS. YES ITS THE GUY'S FAULT TOO, BUT THEN DONT GO AROUND SAYING YOU WOULD NEVER SLEEP WITH A MARRIED MAN. AJ HAS DONE IT WAY TOO MANY TIMES. WHAT PROTECTS HER IS HER GOODWILL AND CHARITIES.. OTHER THAN THAT, NO ONE WOULD BE DEFENDING HER.

whoo hoo, you tell 'em---I agree
and when her kids grow up they will be able to see the movie where their parents fell in love,....um oh wait, I mean when they committed adultery

They keep asking her the same questions because that is all she cares about. If she had something to talk about, you can be sure she would bring it up in interviews. They only thing she wants to talk about is being dumped, and how she is over Brad with Vince, Paul, John.........

You are spot on! Spot on, baby. If only Jen would exploit her womb and the International adoption laws to produce six or seven little topic changers!

I'll start by saying that I'm a huge fan of this woman's work.

Having said that, she needs to stop talking. And I guess that she finally relents and gives interviews because they put her on the cover whether she talks to them or not, but she seems to have complaints about all the press coverage she gets ... and then participates in the most inane things like that cover of the NY Times magazine two weeks ago the prose portion of which was just so much nothing (though the photos were interesting).

But you know, there's nothing written in stone about having to talk to the press when you don't wanna. Put out the projects and see if the work itself is enough to draw a crowd.

But be prepared to experience the back end of that equation.

In today's silly world, the magazine covers are probably what works best for promotions.

I can't believe I'm taking the time to comment on this, but what the heck...
Every word in the Caryn James piece in the Times is true. Ms. Aniston was very good in The Good Girl, but has made some lousy choices and given some lousy performances since.
As for the never-ending divorce business, it would behoove her to shut her mouth. As she says, "sh*t happens", but it happens to all of us, so time to move on.
It always strikes me as funny when a celebrity gets so incredibly bent out of shape by a bad review. If film is art, they need to understand that art is subjective. There is no scientific test to prove your awesomeness. You can think you're great; millions can agree, but the rest of us can not like your work and our opinions are just as valid. Criticism is the price you pay to make art. In Ms. Aniston's case, the many, many millions of dollars should provide some comfort.

She is actually quite good. I think her selection of movie roles has been poor.
Why doesn't Brad get asked about his break up with Jen...how sexist is this country anyway? He broke it off, he should get asked....not her; then she gets called on being "hung up" when at each interview it's brought up.

OK too much tabloid blogging; that'll do me for a month.

...."Why doesn't Brad get asked about his break up with Jen...how sexist is this country anyway?..."

Who says he isnt asked? But as someone else on this thread says, the interviewee has the option not to answer. Aniston clearly feels a need to explain herself. As usual, she comes out looking like the low self-esteem, pathetic child-woman she is.

Yeah what's the big deal here? She's kinda vacuous and done, an average TV talent who's heyday was a decade ago, on a show that frankly bored me silly, and really, well-what more is there to say-? who cares?

Jennifer is a good comedic actress and, with the help of quite a bit of plastic surgery, she now looks really pretty.. My advice, (not that she asked me!) is that she should study acting seriously and focus on doing some real work. That will build her self esteem so that she doesn't have to milk this failed marriage with Brad Pitt story and flaunt her body on magazine covers. Personally I rather liked her look when she still had the strong Greek nose but she opted to file it down so now she looks like millions of other Barbie doll women. She lacks character, which is probably the main reason she lost Pitt to Angelina. Angelina, besides being incredibly gorgeous, and ultra-talented, reeks with character.

Sorry, but Angelina's beauty is an acquired taste, and she has obviously had some plastic surgery or has indulged in botox. I'm not convinced she's talented, and apparently millions of moviegoers agree with me, as most of her movies tank. I don't think a husband-stealer has much character, but I am more disgusted by her PR campaign to prove that she is a humanitarian extraordinaire;I would respect her more if she didn't try to cover up her misdeeds.

I think it's hysterical that all these "moralists" whine about Jolie stealing someone's husband. Yup! She ran right in and DRAGGED him out of the room. Barf! People don't LEAVE happy, satisfying relationships! Jolie and Pitt do a zillion times more for the world, and use their money in significant ways, than this silly little kepwie-doll Aniston ever has, and it's clear that Pitt fell in love with a WOMAN vs. the twit that will always be the "high school virgin". Aniston was great in Friends but has done nothing notable since then except to sell women's magazines; not since Suzanne Somers has someone of so little talent appeared in so many places. People need to stop confusing "Hollywood personalities" with true actors.

Sorry, but she's horse-faced and a limited actress. Name one movie of hers that made money.

I'd say that after serving as the break-out star in a long-running sitcom that has generated more than a billion dollars in revenue for its network and production company, Aniston should have to provide an accounting of her "value" as an actress to no one. That being said, many of Aniston's films do yield a profit, and in that sense she is a more cost-efficient actor than either Brad or Home-Wrecker-lina, who appear almost exclusively in bloated and expensive star vehicles, only a handful of which earn back their costs. Check out Fortune Magazine's semi-recent article on which actors are worth their salaries.....

It always defeats me that after earning the enormous salaries they do from these hit tv series, that enough has not been put aside to live off for the rest of their lives. Why is there always the huge need for more fame, more money, more adulation? Are their ego's really so desperate? Ms Aniston must have made more during her time on Cheers than most of us (and our families combined) make in our lifetimes. She could then pick and choose good roles (the film with Jim Carrey wasn't bad) and learn her craft - tv is different from films, and she needs to learn character acting too. At the end of say, five or six years, she'd be a much more accomplished actress with a better range.
Yes, Brad should be asked about the break-up as well - it seems he was (if Ms Jolie is to be believed) the one who looked elsewhere, so why Ms A is continuously asked while he plays happy families defeats me. I suspect though, bottom line, he was a big film star, ready to settle down and start a family. She was fresh out of a sit com, desperate to prove she could do other things, and pregnancy was the last thing she wanted. Basically, the right people but the wrong time. Sad.

You really are an angry little bitxch arent ya? LOL "Break out star" you say? BWAAAAAAAAAHHA. You shouldnt try to rewrite history. jen's 'star' began to rise when she married The Brad Pitt. And have you noticed how it began to fade when he dropped her like the albatross she is? And now, everyone and their aunt, including her! cant seem to talk aout her without mentioning the Jolie-Pitts.

So what's a no-talent tv sitcome hag to do? Ride that train, baby. Just ask her agent and life-raft, steven huvane of CAA.

Christ! I can't believe how often we must be confronted with news of this woman. Who cares, anyway! She's just an actress, for crying out loud, and hardly the prettiest of the lot. I mean, that chin. Really, I just don't get the fascination.

And I don't get why everyone's too polite to mention that you could play a challenging game of putt-putt golf on Brad Pitt's pores. Oh, that's right. It's because our mothers taught us that no matter how much you may dislike someone, you never make fun of them for a physical characteristic over which they have no control. [Sorry, Mom: I just broke your rule. Just this once.]

Ok, here is the scenario:

You are chatting with a neighbor and she brings up a family in the neighborhood who has 7 children. The children are often dressed in clothing that is not size-appropritate, but that is written off as part of the expense of raising so many children. Now, apparently, while visiting with them the other day, your neighbor tells of seeing the 3 year old in this family come into the room with dog ca-ca all over her hand. The mother smells it and immediately says, "go wash your hands".

Would you think:

"Oh how charming. Such a laid back family where children are unsupervised and can substitute dog ca ca for brown playdoh. How relaxed that mother is to let a 3 year old wash off bacteria on her hand; bacteria that were the child to not do a good job washing it off, could end up in her mouth and make her very sick."

or would you think:

What the heck is going on here???

I know what I would think.......... and I know HufPo would never let it see the light of day on here.
