Phil Spector Wears Obama Button To Murder Trial

President-elect Barack Obama got some unusual support on Tuesday from music producer and alleged murderer Phil Spector. Spector, on trial for second degree murder, wore a button touting Obama's victory to court on Tuesday in Los Angeles, California. Spector is charged with killing actress Lana Clarkson in his Alhambra, California mansion on February 3, 2003.

This isn't the first time that Spector has shown his support for Obama in court. Back in July he was spotted wearing a "Barack Obama Rocks" button.

After I put my Obama bumper sticker on my car last winter, I tried to be extra conscienti­ous about my driving. It was sort of like I was "represent­ing" Obama supporters­, and I wanted to be a good envoy. I probably was overanalyz­ing (typical), but it irks me to see someone with such a public face stand trial for a heinous crime with an Obama button. I know he has a right to wear the button, and that he's innocent until proven guilty, but I still find it irritating­.

Yeah, the gun just happened to go off when a woman was standing in front of it. And this isn't the first time that Specter has used a gun to intimidate a woman. And it happened in his home. And he's mentally deranged. Sure, he's innocent until proven guilty but he's got a mountain of evidence to overcome.
