Gossip Columnists Say Goodbye To Weekday Column

It all started on Feb. 20, 1995, with a column that included the first word of Pam Anderson's wedding to Tommy Lee, as well as items about John Kennedy Jr. and Daryl Hannah's dogs, Paul McCartney and Yoko Ono's rapprochement, and Sharon Stone's nipple.

Nearly 4,000 columns later, Rush & Molloy is moving from the daily pages of New York's greatest newspaper to take up residence in Sunday's feature-packed edition. We'll be following all the usual Hollywood suspects, plus providing some complimentary dermabrasion to those who are merely rich and powerful.

Starting Monday, in this space, we'll be welcoming back the Gatecrasher column. Carrying on the glorious tradition of barrier-bashing begun by Ben Widdicombe will be Laura Schreffler and Sean Evans.
