Mccain

In an interview with ABC News' George Stephanopolous Sunday, Sen. John McCain would not say whether he'd support Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin if she runs for president.

"Listen I have the greatest appreciation for Gov. Palin and her family and it was a great joy to know them," McCain said. "She invigorated our campaign and she was just down in Georgia and she invigorated their campaign."

"But I can't say something like that," McCain said, "We've got some great other young governors."

McCain said he thinks the Republican governors are going to assume a leadership role in the future of the Republican Party.

"Have no doubt of my admiration and respect for her and her viability," McCain said, "but at this stage my corpse is still warm!"

McCain isn't all that bright either. Neither was Reagan. The ever popular Limbaugh's career is based on his grudge against people who are smarter than he is. They fill in the IQ gaps with passion, aggression and repetition.

But exactly half the population has below average intelligence. Why do they prefer a leader who makes them feel better as the country circles the bowl over somebody smart, informed and hard-working who can stop the spin?

"[Sarah Palin] knows more about energy than probably anyone else in the United States of America. ... And, uh, she also happens to represent, be governor of a state that's right next to Russia." --after being asked about Sarah Palin's foreign policy experience, interview with WCSH-6, Portland, OR, Sept. 12, 2008

"She needed the clothes." --explaining to reporters why the RNC spent $150,000 on clothes and accessories for Sarah Palin and her family, Florida, Oct. 23, 2008

Sarah Sahara, (she should have a name like Hannah Montana)
cause she has a "deliverance" following. What is it with the South? Do we need to put the Blue-wear back on and push them out into the Atlantic?
JohnnyMac got buffaloed into Palin by his Rovian handlers, as they offered Sarahzilla for the coups de grais and he took the bait. Now he has a chance to redeem himself as an effective Senator --- chances for the presidency are over.
Dunno about 'chall, (hyeck, hyeck) but I am right tarred of Governors at the moment. I prefer the Senate-Pool for Pres Candidates. Lessee, Clinton was a Gov, but let's hold him as the exception,.....Bush was a Gov. demonstrating that Texas belongs in the Gulf waters, Palin occupies the office of Gov.,
(one wouldn't stoop to callin' her office-worthy), now we've got Blaggo,--- bad luck with Govs. Then there's the "Kalifornia Governator",.....let's give the Senate further play.

McCain would be a fool if he campaign for Palin in year 2012 for President. McCain knows that it is a lot more educated, experience GOP's to back up rather than to waste his good time and energy on Sara Palin whom McCain knows Sara knows nothing about Politics. Hooray! for you McCain. I think it would be a waste of MONEY to campaign and back Sara Palin in anything. Her job should only be to raise those kids and keep cooking Moose Chili.

McCain is just a little late at getting a clue about what American voters figured out before they voted November 4th. Why hitch your name and reputation to a 5-watt bulb when there are numerous 100-watt options?

I keep reading how good looking she is. For a one toother she may be good looking, but compared to the avg woman going to the office on any given day, take a good look at her. She is a mutt.

Translation:

McCain----"Look, Palin is not the sharpest knife in the intelligence drawer, mind you, but she is good weapon to use while running for office. She jabs at the elite liberals in ways I don't have enough balls to do. She went down and stirred up the one-toothers and helped out Chambliss, so I'm not gonna say to the press what I really think of her in case I need her to do that for me in the future. However, I know that there are DOZENS of Republican governors who make her look like the beauty pageant contestant she is, so I'm not gonna 'pal around with her' too much. I'm walking the fine line between supporting Palin and denouncing her because I refuse to burn any political bridges. Winning is all that matters."

Perfect! You translated what he his saying to what he is REALLY saying!

Winning the election was the point of bringing clueless Palin on board. She is a living and breathing example of convictions without integrity. The fact that conservatives are breathless with wonder over her defies common sense and logic. She is all chutzpah ("an attitude of superiority manifested in an over-bearing manner or in presumptuous claims and assumptions.") and ignorance. McCain can't even bring himself to endorse her and he picked her in the first place!

Conservatism is now reduced to two crazed camps of true believers: the Christian Right and the Jewish Right, otherwise known as he neocons. These people are all self-deluded enthusiasts who buy their own fantasies, while the rest of the country--sinking deeper and deeper into the quicksand created by neocon lunacy in Iraq (which distracted us from Afghanistan, which we may now well "lose," as a result) and the financial shenanigans perfectly symbolized by the arch-thief and pied piper, Bernie Madoff, and the true-believing folly of his rich dupes--wants only just a hint of integrity and pragmatic grappling with reality for a change.

"stirred up the one toothers" LMAO! How true! She is a purdy one toother lmao decked out in Neiman clothes. It's all in the packaging and marketing to the GOP.
McCain came on yesterday on a distraction blitz while Bush made a surprise visit to Iraq to distract from stories of the massive fraud and ripoff of the US taxpayer coming out once again.

Mccain helped Obama win by trying to be nice and then voting on the first bailout.. The only good thing he did was bring Palin to the media light.
I hope Mccain does diss her even more, then she will have a better chance.

I must have missed the part of the campaign where McCain was "nice." Was it at any point between when it started and when it ended? Because I saw no evidence at all in that span of time.

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 12:49 PM on 12/15/2008

Does "zippy" refer to the years of sniffing lighter fluid? That would explain your comment.

I'd suggest time out for some fresh air and try to regain your grasp on reality.

McCain....nice???? When was that?
The most negative rotten, scum filled campaign ever was run by McCain/Palin. Palin is a total incompetent and McCain will say and do anything for what he perceives as his own best interest.
Maybe Palin being in the light will help with her seasonal depression disorder.....the woman is a loon.

So there, to all those nit-wits who thought Palin was so great.

It was an IQ test, which all of them had failed miserably.

The most gullible people in the whole world.

There are more than a few terribly age-ist responses to that line; but I won't go there. I just hope that Palin's "corpse" never ever gets anywhere nearer to the White House than on a scenic bus tour of DC.

My dear sweet Mother, 71; blinded by glaucoma but smart as a whip told me when the Gorilla from Wassilla was tabbed for the VP, Senator McCain had already decided he didn't want to be president. I just nodded and went about my usual take on the election with all of the usual hubris of someone who knew more than their parents. But I have to give her credit for the most insightful perspective of this election cycle. I Now believe that the honorable senator took one for the team and gave us what we needed. As a McCain backer in 2000, Obama in 2008 it is comforting to know your parents can still see the forest; not just the Trees.

Blind people dont judge by skin colour. So it was an easy and honest decision your mother made.

Eventhough sometimes its good to be able to have your sight,so neocons cant tell you that Iraq is better-off now, then you will be able to compare and contrats for yourself.
