Elisabeth Hasselbeck "Miffed" At President Bush, Gets White House Apology

Elisabeth Hasselbeck has whined her way to the White House.

After complaining on "The View" Tuesday morning that she did not receive her annual invitation to the White House Christmas Party — "Maybe I didn't do enough for the Republican party this year?" she speculated — Elisabeth received an apology and an invitation from the White House:

"Following today's live show, Elisabeth received a call from the The White House, and they both had a great conversation," Karl T. Nilsson, the executive publicity director of The View told Usmagazine.com. "The President's office apologized and explained that she and her husband were indeed invited to the White House for Christmas and were sorry that it did not arrive. It was simply an oversight."

Elisabeth had said she was "miffed" about the oversight, and that she had finally come to agree with her Bush-hating co-host Joy Behar for the day. Joy then demonstrated how she would respond if Bush were on "The View" set that day — by throwing her high heel at him.

God, she's as annoying as Palin. Aren't her 15 minutes of fame up yet? I remember her on Survivor as a childish little cry-baby. She didn't even win, yet she's more famous than those who have. I can deal with most of these ex-Survivor has-beens, except her. I've had enough.

So that's how people in the White House spend their tax-payer paid incomes: spending weekday mornings watching The View, while Bush political appointees at the SEC watch porn and threaten career government workers with firing for raising red flags about big business. No wonder the economy is going to hell in a handbasket. We've got a bunch of tweens running the government. Thank god that the adults are back in charge after the inauguration.

Well, if anyone needed proof that she has been nothing but a complete shill this entire time, there it is. This does not strike me as something one would say if they had been speaking their true convictions and opinions this entire time; more like someone who wasn't invited to their workplace's holiday party, but maybe I'm giving her too much credit.
