Elizabeth Warren, Harvard Law professor and economic thinker, has been appointed to chair the five-person Congressional oversight panel for the $700 billion bailout fund. A list of her areas of expertise can be found at Harvard Law School's Elizabeth Warren page.

Warren has a significant web presence, running a blog on Talking Points Memo and, previously, this site.

As she states in the video below, her panel essentially makes sure that the money is being spent in the interest of the taxpayers.

Elizabeth Warren..Harvard University..

ahh,
yes.

she was on the dvd film,
"Maxed Out"
did you see this?
I saw her on the film, and am very impressed, by her intelligence.

Hey, I think that she would make a fine person,
who would keep an eye out on Paulson, Bernanke, and the rest of those bunglers,
at the white house. We definately could use this lady, to keep an eye on :
the $700 Billion dollars, which bush said was needed urgently, right away,
for the collapsing financial structure of the dollar.

Dont call this lady names, because she is a professor of law from Harvard University.
I think that she is a very good choice, for the job ahead.

follow the money..

This is a joke. There needs to be some oversight of the oversight. Trust no one. Show me some results and then maybe I will THINK about trusting this farse.

Ah, yes, Elizabeth Warren and Harvard. She writes so eloquently and diagnosis societal issues with such breath taking simplicity. It is almost as if she tells you the story of where middle class is headed but does absolutely nothing about biting the hand that feeds her.

No one of importance moves around Harvard unless sanctioned by the Rockefeller Syndicate. Warren describes the plight of the middle class as being one pink slip or one medical bill away from having the bottom fall out of the two-pay cheque family ( http://privatizationofrisk.ssrc.org/Warren/ ). In there, she has the audacity to make this statement: "The old financial rules have been rewritten by powerful corporate interests who see middle class families as the spoils of political influence".

This woman needs to spend some time with David Rockefeller and ask him how he managed to kill off the middle class with all of his globalization scams from "free trade to WTO". Dear David is a staunch advocate of global depopulation, although he won't put it in those terms. The international banker's, of which he belongs, decreed that the U.S. middle class had to be lowered to reduce their interest in politics and having them both work to keep the population down.

Here is David before a UN panel: http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=ml_zwkn_g94 and it is too bad Warren was not in the audience or she would have quickly realized that she has been had!

Is this a joke? I went to COP.SENATE.GOV and I could not find a way to write Elizabeth Warren and provide feedback. I'm a programmer and a computer geek, it's not like I don't know how to find a "Contact Us" web form. Why does Government make life so difficult? Is anyone else not able to find a way to provide feedback to Elizabeth Warren?
