In an interview with CNN's Suzanne Malveaux, conservative Pat Robertson said he was "remarkably pleased" with President-elect Barack Obama. Not so for President Bush, who he blames for the economic crisis. On President Bush:

ROBERTSON: Well, it's hard to assess blame, but I -- over the years -- I hate to be critical, I mean I am a Republican, and this is the president of the party that I'm a member of -- but I think we've had some serious goofs along the way. The Katrina matter was terrible. The rebuilding of Iraq has been terrible. The hailing (ph) of the economy right now has been terrible.

It hasn't been handled in what I would consider a professional manner.

MALVEAUX: How would you grade the president in light of all of the -- the laundry list that you just listed there?

ROBERTSON: Well you know, history may accord him a higher grade than his contemporaries and I think he's hoping for that, and we are.

But I believe I would look at about a C-minus right now if I were grading him.

On President-elect Obama:

MALVEAUX: Are you looking forward to an Obama administration? A change?

ROBERTSON: I am remarkably pleased with Obama. I had grave misgivings about him. But so help me, he's come in forcefully, intelligently. He's picked a middle of the road cabinet. And so far, if he continues down this course, he has the makings of a great president.

So, I'm very pleased so far.

What a bunch of rubbish. THis is not about wanting to persecute or alienate anyone. It is
not about right and left. It is about Obama giving EVERY indication of being MORE OF THE
FREAKING SAME... yet another Korporate Kandidate lapdog of Wall Street and the
plutocrats. Though this time, granted, with more melanin pigmentation. BFD.

It has begun to dawn on me that many do not want to see change. They prefer a reversal of roles; there should always been an adversary, a battle to fight and revenge to seek.. If the battle tactics of the President-elect is to skillfully make his very opponents see the error of their ways, and he is sucessful, how much is that worth? Yet all some posters can see is vengeance. Obama's campaign tactics worked for him; he is no fool. Perhaps you should save the bitching after you hear what Rick Warren has to say.

Hatred is a virulent from the left as it is from the right.

Pat Robinson projected Obama would win the Presidency but "not in Virginia". I think he realizes "his" Virginia has changed. Maybe he is remarkably pleased and a bit surprised.

WOW again to the fact that Obama is having this kind of effect on the extreme right conservatives is remarkable! We're on our way people....we're on our way to a more unified country....and it's about time!! Come On January 20!!

Robertson has no cred here. He who said God told him Bush would be President, and God told him that Bush should attack Iraq. Now he gives Bush a C-.
The God I believe in does not make mistakes!
Robertson is a phony

If most posters here would stop whining for just a minute and look at the bigger picture please. Obama is accomplishing what he set out to do - bring us all together. Yes, that includes people you don't agree with. Boo Hoo. Grow up. What did you want BHO to do - persecute and alienate those that have persecuted and alienated you for the last eight years? Well, he's a bigger person that you all are. It is fantastic that Robertson sees great things in Obama. If more conservative, 70+, white televangelists reach out to their 50,000,000 viewers and tell them good things about Obama, how is that going to hurt?

The whining I see here is proof positive that I'm glad none of you are in charge of anything as substantial as our Country's direction.

When the Catholic church repeatedly demonstrated there ability to move /protect/deny the child molestation problem within their church, they lost any/all moral high ground. Pat Robertson has consistently backed the party that does the most damage to America thru their fake conservatism, in a country founded around the Freedom Of Religion/Separation of Church and State. Pat Robertson lost all moral high ground when he sided with those distinctly UNchristian Neocons. Like all republicans his opinion is irrelevant. Pat gets an F even when using the bell curve.

...yeah, on that part of the bell-shaped curve (the far, far right half, of course) that stretches somewhere beyond into infinity,,,or into areas of ultra-eclectic-anomalystic-absurdly-ridiculous-religious-conservative-hypocrisy.

I'd be very surprised if he didn't - apart from treasuries just about every traditional investment portfolio depreciated since September.

What?! Bush a "C-"? Are you serious?

America wishes to correct Pat Robertson. Bush gets an "F-". That's right, an "F minus". Bush not only failed, he descended beyond failure, into areas others have not tread.

Our country hasn't seen a failure of this magnitude since the Great Depression. But the sad part is that the failure is not limited to just economics. Bush is far, far worse than Hoover. His failure applies across the board on a wide range of policies and issues -- both foreign and domestic. And, most importantly, he failed in fulfilling his oath to "preserve, protect, and defend" the Constitution of the United States of America.
