Wal-Mart To Start Selling iPhones On Sunday

Wal-Mart Stores Inc said on Friday it will start selling Apple Inc's iPhone on Sunday, but the popular cell phones that can surf the web will not be priced as low as some anticipated.

Wal-Mart plans to sell the black 8-gigabyte iPhone 3G model, which also holds about 2,000 songs, for $197. The 16-gigabyte model, in black or white, will be priced at $297. All of the phones require a new two-year service agreement from AT&T Inc or a qualified upgrade, Wal-Mart said.

I considered buying an iPhone here in Europe, but it is completely useless for me. No proper Navigation software available due to apple restrictions and it does not work properly with my BMW 5series bluetooth.
Bought a Nokia E71 instead and it is awesome, simply works including dynamic navigation and is way better build (Made in Finland) and available without an expensive 2 year contract.

Becareful on using this iphone. I wrote apple to find out if the iphone is made of COLTAN from the Democratic Republic of Congo but I did not get any answer. I have strong believe that this iphones have the blood of congolese people.
