Haaretz:

The head of the Lebanese militia Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, said Sunday that he had asked his fighters to be on alert for any possible Israeli attack on Lebanon following raids on Gaza that killed nearly 300 Palestinians.

In a televised address at a religious gathering marking the Shiite Day of Ashura south of Beirut, Nasrallah said "I have asked the brothers in the resistance in the south specifically to be present, on alert and cautious because we are facing a criminal enemy and we don't know the magnitude of the conspiracies."

Wouldn't it better for Nasrallah to try to improve the lives of oppressed Palestinians in HIS OWN EFFING COUNTRY????

According to the United Nations:

"All 12 official refugee camps in the Lebanon Field suffer from serious problems - no proper infrastructure, overcrowding, poverty and unemployment.
Lebanon has the highest percentage of Palestine refugees who are living in abject poverty.
Palestine refugees in Lebanon face specific problems. They do not have social and civil rights, and have very limited access to the government's public health or educational facilities and no access to public social services.
Considered as foreigners, Palestine refugees are prohibited by law from working in more than 70 trades and professions."

Well, Nassrallah.
Before involving long suffering Lebanese in another war, how about it actually DOING something peaceful ?

he head of the Lebanese militia Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, said Sunday that he had asked his fighters to be on alert for any possible Israeli attack on Lebanon following raids on Gaza.

Translation: Nasrallah, is desperately itching to find a way to launch some unprovoked missiles on Israel.
At the same time he's scared of the results. Not to mention the fact that UN peacekeepers are in the South of Lebanon.

Oh, don't worry about that. Once Israel "accidentally" bombs a few UN outposts, there won't be much ado about the international peacekeeping force.

How utterly strange, that one has to call Hassan Nasrallah a voice of reason these days...

No, one does not have to call him that. I'd call him the voice of Lebanese terrorism.

It was Hamas who refused to continue the cease-fire. Their the Palestinian government voted in by the people. You get what you Vote for i.e "George W. Bush".

I've been saying exactly this all along. You get what you vote for. We are being punished economically and in our reputation for having allowed Bush to get elected for TWO terms in a row - whose actions will remain as a scar on the face of American foreign policy and economics for decades in the future.

The Palestinians chose HAMAS, who are infinitely worse than George Bush ever could be. They are pure terrorists, who revel in the death and destruction of anybody who potentially stands in their way - including any civilians. The Palestinian people are now being punished for overwhelmingly voting Terrorist in the 2006 election.

For the files:

Israel invaded Lebanon in 2006, after two israeli soldiers in full battle-gear had been captured by Hamas-militia-men ON LEBANESE SOIL!

I would call those israeli soldiers intruding lebanese territory nothing but a land-based "Gulf of Tonkin"-incidence...

Totally untrue. The soldiers were taken from Israeli soil.

The question remains....Why, Why is Hamas lobbing rockets inside of Israel? Answer the question, then you just might find the solution to get them to stop....

They are lobbing rockets because they are terrorists.

How do you stop terrorists?

It generally involves violence, as terrorists usually don't want to talk.

Terrorists aren't usually elected as the representative government of an entire people, as HAMAS was in this case.

If every gun in Gaza disappeared, not a single Palestinian or Jew would die, from that day onwards. You are a fool if you believe otherwise.

Unless Hezbollah does what they did before, lobbing ball bearing rockets blindly into Israel, it's unlikely they will be invaded. If Hamas wants the Israelis to stop, then they need to stop with the constant rocket attacks.

Typical terrorist propaganda. Basically project all your crimes onto your opponent. Hezbollah will attack Israel if they think they can get away with it. Hopefully Israel will recognize their mistake the last time and not stop in Gaza until Hamas is destroyed.

Amen. Their initial hesitation in Lebanon sure taught the Israelis a lesson about getting the job done right, the first time. I have no doubt this will be a clean sweep.

The Bush Admistration is silent, scolding Hamas and engaging in fruitless finger-wagging as the United States government stands down, watching this human disaster cascade into an epic catastrophe. So ends the conventional wisdom that the Bush regime would end "not with a bang but a whimper."

George Bush has proven to be the master of folly. The worst presidency in American history. A regime marked by aggressive incompetence, rampant negligence and dereliction of duty.

P/S. You know it is extremely bad when you have to hide behind your wife’s and Condi’s skirts while they try to defend your 8 years as a failed leader of our once proud nation.

That seems bizarrely self-centered Hassan, considering the circumstances.
