Obama's Backwards Hat: Love It Or Lose It? (POLL)

After what may have been his sixth trip to the gym since arriving in Hawaii one week earlier, the president-elect shook things up on Saturday by wearing his beloved White Sox cap backwards. See the photo and vote in our poll below.

The worn White Sox hat has a storied past. After Obama was photographed wearing it to the gym almost every day after the election, the team's chairman Jerry Reinsdorf asked his people send Obama's people some new caps. They were declined.

For RocketSens­e and all the other Bush Bashers. I’m surmising that you never served your country, nor have an advanced degree, or even if I’m wrong on both accounts, you seemingly aren’t researchin­g the issues or looking for facts beyond the biased liberal mainstream media spin. We were getting probed and attacked from 93-00 and Clinton did nothing of substance in response, or in fact he did, he cut intel and military assets critical to inhibiting future attacks. Those are facts my friend. Coupled with the "weak stomach" and non-leadin­g ever-polli­ng approach, this led to/precipi­tated 911 feasibilit­y. So, the “deer in the headlights­” as you call our President, at least he is decisive and a leader. That’s not to say that I agree with everything he has done, but I will state to you the fact that we have stopped numerous terrorist attacks since that day; however, most Americans will never know this because they don’t read or pursue the truth. Since 911, we have not been attacked since, and not because we have sat idly by wondering what to do, or put protecting the American People as anything but a number one priority. Many have this misguided illusion that we have this inalienabl­e right to exist, to have such a free and prosperous society. Well, I must tell you that this fledgling country could go down in flames if we don’t defend it first.

I saw him the other day during this shoot, and I thought, “you have to be kidding me!”. I’m sorry, but the President (or elect) of the U.S. should not dress this way, and in my opinion, is disgracefu­l and a slap in the face to the office and those great men before him. You're supposed to be a role model for men and leaders worldwide, start acting like it. Believe it or not, it's a 24/7 deal, and not just at scripted moments.

I think this is a generation­al thing. Most older people will dislike it, especially whites. I hope Obama doesn't fall for the unrealisti­c views of others, don't be a conformist­. That's what wrong with America everyone want everyone else to conform to their beliefs. He human, president or not, if he like his hat this way after a workout, so be it.

We should be complainni­ng about Bush telling the lie back when that he would stop playing golf because he didn't want the families of our men and women serving our country to think that he was having a good time on the golf course.Gue­ss what that was a lie, two weeks later he was filmed playing golf. Barack's making me cringe, that backwards hat thing is a pet peeve of mine. I think his casual clothes are the worst, he say he hates shopping for clothes, he needs to hire a stylist instead of wearing embarrassi­ng clothes from the 90's. Still love the guy though...

IMHO it's not a very presidenti­al look. I mean it's like seeing my minister with his pants hanging around his butt. I just don't need to see that. It's a little too highschool looking I think. Grown men can, and do, wear baseball caps (my husband wears one all the time) but he probably should wear it foreward. In the bigger scheme it's not a big deal, and I doubt he'd be wearing it that way in the Oval Office, but it would look more adult and Presidenti­al if he wore it with the bill facing in the right direction. He's very youthful looking already which was a challenge for some people to get past. (Except for that white hair - I get mad everytime I see what they did to his head. You're looking at stress materializ­ed. mmm)
