Okay how can you have the guts to make fun of a purity ring? It has meaning and symbolism and I really can't believe anyone would make fun of it and call it a trend.
Models fall on the runway during every Fashion Week, it's not a trend, it's a fact and a fashion writer should know that.

The shoes in the slide are not high heels..they're stripper shoes.
You have to admit some of them are "let's have a contest to see who can create the ugliest shoe in the world and then lets stick a 6 in. heel on it and charge a ton for them". Next thing you know, all of Hollyweird are wearing them and then we think we should have them. C'mon! Let's please think for ourselves in '09.

The pictures I just reviewed of these girlfriends with boyfriend jeans on look as though they need a bath. They look outhouse smelly.

I agree. The "Gossip Girl" style was one of the few interesting fashion trends of last year. I hope more young people embrace bow ties and fitted jackets. It's classy and reminiscent of a bygone era.
Also, the boyfriend pant looks good. I'm so glad the super tight everything trend is gone, when all you could find in the stores were jeans that fell below the waist and shirts above the waist.
AMEN! I'm not fat and I'm not skinny - I fall right in the middle, which I'm quite pleased with, however, I HATED this period of constantly trying to stretch my clothes so that my stomach and a$$ weren't on show.

When I saw those shoes, I fell out laughing because they remind me of that Wayans movie "I'm Gonna Git You Sucka". They're almost exactly like the platform shoes with the goldfish swimming in the bottom of them that the pimp was wearing when he got out of jail. He'd been in jail so long that he didn't realize that nobody wore platform shoes anymore.
I guess that the Wayans 'borrowed' that look from Rick James of Parliament Funkadelic. I went to a concert for that group way back in late '70's, & Rick James came out with goldfish swimming in his platforms - very funny & hip FOR THE DISCO ERA.
I am thrilled that Michelle Obama is a tall woman instilled with common sense. I have finally been able to find some flats that are stylish and comfortable - I can't wear heels anymore cuz of broken ankle.

I keep seeing Jodie Marsh described as a 'glamour model'. Ugly, amatuerish tattoos all over her arms and huge new boobs paid for by a lads mag - she's about as far removed from glamour as it's possible to get!
I have a shoe fetish so I so love those clear hooker/stripper shoes to no end.......
