Page Six Wrong On Oprah & Stedman

Page Six got at least one part of its Wednesday item on Oprah wrong, and a simple photo-check would've caught it.

In a report, based on an "insider," that Oprah is doing her show live from the Kennedy Center while she's in DC for the inauguration, the New York Post gossip column also mentioned that Oprah's been spotted everywhere with best pal Gayle King, and not boyfriend Stedman Graham:

Winfrey is also hosting an exclusive inauguration-night party in Washington at an undisclosed location with her best friend, Gayle King. King has been by Winfrey's side at all Obama events, leaving some to ask where her boyfriend, Stedman Graham, has been. "Why wasn't he there with her election night?" a spy asked. "I mean, he does live in Chicago."

The only problem? As seen below, in the Getty Images photo, Stedman was there with Oprah in Grant Park on Election Night.

That is exactly why these newpapers are cutting back and some are closing down. The refused to hire
real journalist. They get these wannabes, the print lies and then they retract their lies with little fan fare. They reported George Bush's lies about Saddam, they let him get away with every criminal deed
he performed, and nothing was written, they just went along. Now they print this crap about OPRAH, just goes to show you , the wannabe journalist and camera person doesn.t know who Steadman is.
That why I stopped my subscription 18 months ago when they tried to railroad PRESIDENT OBAMA.

The Post was vicious against Obama. Their headlines even worse! I stopped reading it too. I couldn't take any more vile reports. And the media wonders why people are cancelling subscriptions. People are worn down with biased reporting. If they can't report fairly, who wants to read it?

The rag newspapers are just out and out idiots. Oprah has been with Stedman for over 20 years, so why do they keep printing these stupid stories about her and Stedman not being together. The man has his own business and had it when he met Oprah. Although he is not a billionaire like Oprah, the man is hurting for money, he has published all kinds of books, that are quite good. Oprah stopped talking about her relationship and other things in her personal life on the advise of Bill Cosby. So this is why she doesn't talk about Stedman as much as she use to. I think it was great advice, just like Mr. Cosby telling her to sign her own checks, that way she will know herself how much of her money is going out, rather than having people pay the bills for her show or her personal life, she sign each check herself. The media needs to work on reporting real news rather than some of the crap they do print.

Yup, that was about 10 years ago, before FOX "news" came along and actually WON a case in court that said news didn't HAVE to be true. Needless to say, the rest of the media followed, and now nobody tells the truth.

Some people don't understand "sisterhood". Perhaps its cultural and people don't understand that kind of closeness but I believe Gayle is also the surrogate sister Oprah never had. This is what Gayle & Oprah are. I understand it 100%. If Oprah were gay she'd talk nonstop about it. However, she isn't.

As for Stedman, they've been in a relationship for over 20 yrs now but I believe it's more of a mutual respect now then anything serious.

This is my #1 pet peeve. When the people stop segregating themselves we might get somewhere. I was raised near a military base. I graduated in 1981 and it was nothing to see interracial relationships. Why? Because intolerace wasn't tolerated! I do however remember a guy I graduated with that wasn't accepted in the black community because he was too white. Why? I don't know. I guess it's a black thing.

Just for the record, that's Jesse Jackson's hand she's holding. But what's wrong with a woman hanging out with her best friend? My best friend and I would be together most of the time if we could and I've been married to the same man for over 30 years. Not that there's anything wrong with that....
