Arizona Senator John McCain is adopting a major 2008 campaign slogan for a new political action committee designed to support not only his own planned re-election run in two years, but help him put his stamp on the rebuilding of the Republican Party.
The formation of the "Country First" PAC is to be announced Wednesday, two sources familiar with the plans tell CNN.

McCain 's rhetoric during the campaign was disgusting.... guess he is trying to revive that again....Yes Mr. McCain, appeal to the lowest forms of life and yes we all know that you do not mean Country First.... it is Party First...

Senator McCain, if you really put your country first, why don't you share with the rest of us and Obama where it is bin Laden is? You said you knew. Since we did not elect you, are you not going to do that? What about country first?

Terrific idea. A new slogan will certainly change voters opinions of the repug. party.(????) A better idea would be to start telling the TRUTH, listen to the electorate, visit small towns and big cities and meet REAL people. This will not happen, so they really think voters are dumb enough to believe these stupid slogans. If McCain really believed in country first, he would never have thrust Palin onto the lower 48. Retire, John, pick one of those 8 homes you own, and go away.
