Travis Barker shed his shirt last night, revealing the scars from the plane crash. He was playing a gig in Vegas with DJ AM.

To be honest, I'm surprised his skin is looking this good this quickly. Kudos to the doctors - and to him for obviously fallowing their instructions to the letter.
Those aren't burns, they're skin-graft marks. Skin was taken off his back and used in other places (legs, I think).
Also, he's a drummer. Drumming makes people sweaty, so they take off their shirts. Whoop-de-doo.
Skin grafts have clear margins. If you notice the edges are undefined and rounded. Skin grafts come from cadavers these days or it's cultured. There are also synthetic materials that can be used. I don't give a flip one way or an other about this guy but being burned that badly is unbelieveably painful. My father was burned as a child and the emotional scars are as bad as the physical ones.

no he's going to live off his own clothing line, 2 restaurants, 4 bands, all the hip-hop songs he produces (see swishahouse, T.I., three-6-mafia, bustah rhymes, the game etc), all the endorsement deals he has (OC drum, DW, DC shoes...)
I still think he and DJ AM are douches for suing the estates of the dead pilots.
Don't know anything about the guy but he has my sympathies; burns are horrific. The physical and psychological trauma that comes from being burned makes it one of the most devastating things that can happen to a person. I hope he heals well.
Strange that the tattoos survived the burn. (lower back)

I know nothing about this guy. All I can say is he was playing a gig, looks like he got over-heated and took his shirt off and someone snapped the pic. Hardly "playing" any kind of card. perhaps you should consider a removal of your head from places it does not belong...
He was severely burned in an airplane crash which could have killed him. I don't see him playing for sympathy. In fact he's been pretty low key.
