I Like ItI Don’t Like It

The Iranian businessman was looking for high-quality American electronics, but he had to act stealthily: The special parts he coveted were denied to Iranians, especially those seeking to make roadside bombs to kill U.S. troops in Iraq.

With a few e-mails, the problem was solved. A friendly Malaysian importer would buy the parts from a company in Linden, N.J., and forward them to Iran. All that was left was coming up with a fake name for the invoice. Perhaps a Malaysian engineering school? "Of course, you can use any other company as end-user that you think is better than this," the Iranian businessman, Ahmad Rahzad, wrote in an e-mail dated March 8, 2007.

The international war machine just loves death and destruction. It will never end until humanity says no more. I don't think I'll live that long.

This is no accident. We sell to both sides of every conflict - including the ones WE are in.

The United States of America ALLOWS this kind of stuff to go on because we are in the Business Of War! That is what we do. If you look back to World War 1, and 2 we didn't get involved until the end of each of those conflicts thus tipping the scale. We sale weapons to who ever wants them.

We gave Iraq much of what it has now. The Insurgents are killing American Solidiers with Russian, and American Weapons. Russia, and The US are arms dealers Point Blank.

Eventually, all bombs are boomerangs.

Its an odd choice of picture that's being used seeing that this story has nothing to do with nuclear power

I guess it makes sense because the United States initially sold Iran their Nuclear reactors. And we didn't pretend to sell it to a middleman either, we gave it directly to Iran
Luckily the country of Iran is a peaceful country and they haven't invaded anyone for several generations so I'm not very worried that they have bomb parts

How many times does CNN have to say that there is only one president and if he says anything it could make the wrong impression.....bla bla bla.....

JUST AN EXCUSE and more talking points for the sheeple

So you're asserting that America should speak with multiple voices in matters of foreign policy?

I suspect TDotO is saying that it would be nice if America had a president. Failing that, a president elect who has opinions and isn't afraid of voicing then might not be a bad idea.

Pakistan,India and Israel all already have The Bomb. China has it North Korea might have it.
Russia has plenty. How long before someone uses one? Then what? Fallout travels; if fallout falls in your country is that the same as getting bombed?

Heh...the U.S. and U.S.S.R. both attacked themselves with nuclear bombs hundreds of times each during the 50's and 60's. I remember as a kid that there were daily reports in a lot of newspapers that gave a fallout index across North America and the rest of the world. There was a HUGE concern over the levels of Strontium-90 in our milk supply for many years. It's disgraceful how quickly that whole fiasco faded from the public eye and has rarely been talked about since.

Absolutely right on. And that is when "calf growth fluid" (milk) was being promoted as though it were the nectar of the Gods. I suspect much of the chronic illness we have today is as a result of the Strontium-90 in milk. B U T most of the testing was sub-terranian and did not pollute the atmosphere. The big worry is not the big blasting bombs but the dirty, plutonium-based health-killers that we have to worry most about. They require less technology to deploy.
