I Like ItI Don’t Like It

Elisabeth Hasselbeck enjoyed a private visit with President Bush in one of his final days in the White House, she told her co-hosts of "The View" Monday morning.

After being snubbed for the White House Christmas Party, Elisabeth and her family traveled to DC over the weekend, where they got 15 minutes alone with the President in the Oval Office.

Elisabeth described the President as "gracious" and said that he immediately took to her daughter Grace, discussing Barney the dog with her toddler.

She also said that her 14-month old son, Taylor, headbutted the President.

"Taylor shows his affection by headbutting people, so he also engaged in that with the President" she said. "He clocked the President in the head."

"It was eye-opening for someone who has even supported him to be in his presence and be able to comfortably talk with him," she said. "He is so not the caricature that we have been fed for so long. He is a good man, and I hope that people at least give credit where credit is due as he exits and this transition happens."

Hasslebeck is not the sharpest knife in that drawer. She cannot seems to understand that this so called "good man", lied and took this country into war, and is responsible for the deaths of nearly a million people. over a million displaced, and a country shattered. She also seems unable to comprehend that Bush has led this country into utter chaos and failure. Does she even know what a deficit is?
She keeps repeating this Hannity like chant that Bush has kept us safe, but facts are 9/11 happened months after Bush came after office, and Bush received the memo warning that Al Qaeda was going to attack the US. Yes, Bush is a good, incompetent, man.

Sociopaths are almost always charming but that does not equal "good". Is it "good " that thousands and thousands died in Iraq because Bush was too cold hearted to care? He made sure statistics were not even kept of how many civilians were killed by this war in Iraq. I would say that is not so "good". He turned a blind eye to Americans torturing so called combatants, is that "Good'.? He let New Orleans sink like a stone. Is that "good"? Hasselbeck you are a child.

Great parenting skills, eh? You allow your 14-month-old to headbutt. Beautiful.

Wonder what this young man will grow up to be...football player, right?

more likely a brain damaged collector of SSI. Children are kind of tough, but they shouldn't be hitting their heads on sharp objects such as Bush's head.

I have no issue with people on SSI. I am not poking fun at them. My point is that it's not healthy to teach your child to slam its head against *anything*. I'm sure even repeated *light* tapping of the noggin isn't recommended.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck represents the level of political discourse in America.
Thanks again George W. AWOL.
You and your party have turned America into a laughing stock thanks, in no small part, to conservative hacks like Elisabeth Hasselbeck.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck hails from Rhode Island the smallest state in the Union.
She also has the smallest brain on TV.
Does anyone else see a pattern here?

I like Rhode Island but not Hasselbeck. They make good jewelry and clam chowder in RI.

Are you sure the heatbut was a show of affection?

My guess is that the son has more brains and common sense than his mother.

Most children that headbutt do it for attention or he's a child who doesn't know any limits and is testing them or a child who has so much supervision at this age that he has no chance to explore his world and with the head butting he is expressing his frustration with excessive control. Whatever the reason is ,it's NOT NORMAL to headbutt others ,weather they be an adult or another child .The Hasselbecks have the money to find out WHY the child headbutts ,never seen a child show effection by headbutting !!
