Gael Garcia Bernal Becomes A Dad

MEXICO CITY — It's a boy for Mexican actor Gael Garcia Bernal and Argentine actress Dolores Fonzi.

Garcia Bernal's spokeswoman Icunacury Acosta says the baby is named Lazaro. He was born Thursday in Madrid, Spain.

Acosta said in a statement Monday that the new parents and baby are "very happy, tired and in excellent health."

Garcia Bernal became an international star with the movie "Amores Perros." He also appeared in "The Motorcycle Diaries" and "Babel."

He may soon be arranging play dates with his lifelong friend, Mexican actor Diego Luna.

Luna became a dad in August when his wife, Camila Sodi, gave birth to a boy.

Garcia Bernal and Luna appear together in the movies "Y Tu Mama Tambien" and "Rudo y Cursi."

Never mind "Amores Perros", "The Motorcycle Diaries" and "Babel". See him in Almodovar's "Bad Education". He carries the movie, playing three different roles to critical acclaim.

That's right.! Almodovar, director of "Bad Education", told Bernal that he had to speak perfect Spanish in order for him to do the film. His Castillian was gorgeous. He did a supurb job and was phenomenal in this fine film.

I watched them both in "Y tu mama tambien" until the scene 20 minutes into the film in which they both laid on two adjacent diving boards and masturbated together. I then ejected the DVD and sent it back to Netflix.
High art it wasn't; high blow actors they aren't.
