I used to get this magazine when it was truly Decorating For Dummies...I couldn't pull a room together with a rope and instructions (but we all have different gifts, right?!) and appreciated that it was helping me decorate my home...then something happened and it was no longer giving me the "how to's" that I needed...so I let my subscription run out.

The magazine sucks because it prides itself on being a deal magazine when many of the "affordable" ideas are expensive to many, its like you can use a Jackson Pollock instead of the Leonardo Divinici painting you really wanted. When are magazines, like the down in the dumps Vogue, going to understand they have to study their readers, not just listen to these uptight, pseudo-fashionistas, they insist on circulating their opinions on, try talking to people who went to dare I say college and that includes non-ivy league.
