Kelly Rutherford Split: Ex Alleges Anger And Unhealthy Lifestyle For Son

Kelly Rutherford's estranged husband says that the actress's often 20-hour workdays filming Gossip Girl take a toll on their 2-year-old son, Hermes, according to court documents obtained by PEOPLE.

"The filming lifestyle in New York is very hectic and stressful from what I have personally witnessed," Daniel Giersch said in a Jan. 9 court filing.

According to his papers, "Often times the TV show calls pressuring [her] to leave the hotels, asking her where she is, telling her that she is late and asking her to get into the van [which takes her to the set immediately]. Usually [her] stress causes Hermes to start crying which then causes [her] to be frustrated toward him. I do not believe this is a healthy lifestyle for him."

I hope that everything works out for this family. I don't watch the show, but I think that as an entrepreneur, Mr. Rutheford should realize the sacrifices a family makes when both PARTNERS are trying to make it.
Kelly didn't start a family when her star was rising and is now making up for lost time. Good for her. Gossip Girl isn't going to last forever she should go for it while she can. He sounds like such a baby. I hope that they do whats in the best interest of the children. Hermes is adorable.

The husband is right in this case. TV shows have grueling long days. I can't imagine the havoc it wreaks on families and relationships. Kids need a stable environment.
