Campbell Brown continued her effort to send George Bush off with a bang, dedicating her "Cutting Through The Bull" segment Wednesday night to the President's comments on Osama bin Laden.

Brown compared Bush's tone from 2001 — "Bush the cowboy," she described him, as he boldly declared that he'd capture bin Laden dead or alive — to that in his recent interview with Larry King, in which Bush said he didn't know whether the US had ever come close to capturing bin Laden.

Brown described his tone in the King interview as that of a "chastened cowboy."

"You would think that of all people, he would be able to answer that question," Brown said.

Watch the clip from "Campbell Brown: No Bias, No Bull" below:

Monday night, Brown ripped Bush for his remarks defending the administration's response to Hurricane Katrina.

Campbell Brown truly would like to be a journalist, but it only happens in her dreams. She should have been doing it before, and put Bush's feet to the fire.

So true, lagumbo. It's easy to take shots at
Bush now, when he's leaving office, under a
cloud. I'd have more respect for "journalists"
if they asked the tough questions back when
it mattered.

Bush is NOT a cowboy...Was never one...and he never will be.

Media should have mentioned that longtime ago.

How come the CNN videos you put on the site never work? Is it me and my computer? I don't have the problem with others. It seems to me it happens most with Cambell's videos.

Campbell Brown, desperate not to be a casualty of 4th November 2008. The jury is out. Doesn't look good tho.

Campbell, you are not the "news" person you believe yourself to be. You have been on tv long enough to have challenged this administration long ago and many times and yet where you? What a waste of time your show is.

Very admirable Campbell, but this is the type of reporting we needed 7 years ago, it is unbecoming to watch the once very supportive media kick this guy down the steps as he is leaving.

More to the point, John McCain said he had a sure fire way of capturing Bin Ladin. Okay Bucko what its it? Oh, that was just campaign lies. Just like everything else he said.

Well, Campbell, I'm willing to bet cash money that you voted for him. Twice.

So conservatives, you can act betrayed all you want. You inflicted this . . thing on America. Spare the rest of us your outrage. Its a joke.

You know...if someone had a good idea for catching Bin Laden that didn't involve invading Pakistan, I'd be willing to listen. Elsewise...please shut up.

CNN, ABC, NBC, FAUX, and the rest of them were so afraid to say anything negative or even question Bush to his face or off camera. This is evidence that these people are NOT journalist or news people. They are TV personalities...no different than Ryan Seacrest.
