Campbell Brown Takes On Bush Over Bin Laden: "A Chastened Cowboy"

Campbell Brown continued her effort to send George Bush off with a bang, dedicating her "Cutting Through The Bull" segment Wednesday night to the President's comments on Osama bin Laden.

Brown compared Bush's tone from 2001 — "Bush the cowboy," she described him, as he boldly declared that he'd capture bin Laden dead or alive — to that in his recent interview with Larry King, in which Bush said he didn't know whether the US had ever come close to capturing bin Laden.

Brown described his tone in the King interview as that of a "chastened cowboy."

"You would think that of all people, he would be able to answer that question," Brown said.
