Will Coal Spill Victims Be OK? "No One Can Give Me An Answer"

Coal fly ash contains various toxic chemicals, including arsenic, mercury, beryllium, thallium and selenium. TVA and other agencies say tests of water and air quality so far around the site show no contamination above regulatory levels.

TVA officials have put a price tag on the cleanup of more than $1 million per day.

As the cleanup continues, environmental advocates want to know what's going to happen to the billion-plus gallons of slurry.
