There was a time in the history of the United States when presidents respected the separation of Church and State. Mr. Obama, the supposed student of history, has apparently forgotten that.

what? how has he already shown you he's mixing church and state? by saying god bless america? take fault in his policies, not in his use of a common concluding phrases to a political speech.

did you even listen to the speech? he's talking about inclusions of all religions and tolerance of all differences. How has he mixed church and state already, he's not even president yet.

Bush on the other hand mixed church and state so much that he made it illegal for american foreign aid organizations to inform young mothers about birth control. These women can barely afford to feed themselves let alone a baby, the legislation made organizations teach religiously tinged abstinence only contraception, forcing another era of generational poverty due to premature childbirth. Check out the statistics of young pregnancies across the country since Bush has been in power - they've skyrocketed after he pushed an abstinence-only programs instead of comprehensive sex ed in highschools - and yet Obama- who hasn't even been sworn in yet - is suddenly mixing church and state? how so?
