Larry King opened tonight's show with a report from D.L. Hughley at the HuffPost's pre-inaugural ball at the Newseum in Washington D.C. Hughley detailed the many celebrities on the guest list saying "everybody's going to be here." King ended the segment by mentioning that he planned to stop by the party himself.

After a commercial break, King returned to the Newseum where Hughley briefly interviewed Arianna about the party.
