Hollywood and D.C.'s brightest stars partied at Huffington Post's Pre-Inaugural Ball Monday night, and were eager to share their thoughts on HuffPost and the party.

Well wishers included Chris Matthews, David Shuster, John Cusack, A.J. Calloway, Ross (The Intern) Mathews, Beth Broderick, Robert DeNiro, David Gregory, Josh Groban, D.L. Hughley, Michael J. Fox, and Don King.

Is anyone concerned that reporters, not commentators, are attending events sponsored by organizations that profess a particular point of view? I think it brings into question the political leanings of supposedly independent reporters. I would have the same concern if the sponsoring organization had a conservative perspective.

Reporters are not monks. They do have opinions. What they do is not let us know what they are.
They party everywhere, I'm sure not just where they are ideologically in agreement with.

You sound like just what we don't need anymore of in this country. IT'S a party not a liberal or conservative think tank occasion.

I think we've all cried an ocean of happy tears Myangeldog. I see little, & big alike, faces of tears & grins so wide they're contagious. Black & white alike, we're all so thrilled it seems surreal.
