Michael Cera Cagey Over "Arrested Development" Movie (VIDEO)

Michael Cera got non-committal in Sundance talking to MTV News about the "Arrested Development" movie, to which every actor has committed, including narrator/producer Ron Howard:

Everyone from Jason Bateman and Will Arnett have voiced their support of bringing the cult show to the bigscreen. But recently a newer rumor popped up claiming that Cera was the lone holdout of the cast. So is it true?

Speaking to MTV News to promote his Sundance film "Paper Heart," Cera refuted the rumors, saying that he's merely waiting for a script. But that may be a long time coming, claims the actor, labeling the film as "more hypothetical than people think."

he needs to quit being a little B****. His role as George Michael made him who he is now, that is the only reason he was cast for Superbad, because he plays the awkward kid part so well, matter of fact it is the only role he plays in movies, look at Juno, he plays awkward kid.

It's not as if he's pivitol to the movie. While it'd be nice if he were there Gob, Buster, Lorraine, Michael, Lindsay, Tobias and George would be more than enough for me. And of course, a bit with returning son, Aannyoung , would be a treat. If I were writing the script a missing George Michael would be explained through him having met s very strange and offbeat death - something along the line of a hand-eating, bowtied seal. C'MON.

I love Michael Cera, but this is so annoying! I am a huge Arrested Development fan, and before the show, had anyone heard of Cera? No. Plus, I always imagined that it must have been so fun to shoot the show... I hope that he comes around.

I'm kind of holing they don't make a movie. I think it's best to leave well enough alone. The show was billiant and I sorely miss it. I think making a movie would take away some of the charm of the show. Anyway, who cares that he's holding out? In these types of projects someone is always holding out trying to get the most they can.

I have lost all respect for Michael Cera. He owes everything to A.D. & to even joke about throwing their script in a shredder is absolute blasphemy - I am now secretly praying for his downfall.
