Prince Harry, Chelsy Davy Break Up (PHOTOS, VIDEOS)

Prince Harry and his girlfriend Chelsy Davy have broken up, reports BBC News.

The split, expected to be reported in Sunday's newspapers, is said to have been "amicable" and follows discussions between the two of them in recent days.

The pair have known each other for five years and have parted on at least one previous occasion.

The Telegraph reports that the split might have been Chelsy's decision, as she could not longer "put up with his lifestyle."

[It] appears that it was Miss Davy, 23, who is a law student at Leeds University, who may have decided to end their relationship last week, shortly after they returned from a holiday in Mauritius. It is understood that Miss Davy had told friends she could no longer put up with his lifestyle and time spent apart.

Prince Harry, 24, started his helicopter training at the Army Air Corps HQ in Hampshire last Monday. The Prince is believed to have sought advice from his father, the Prince of Wales, and his uncle, Earl Spencer, in recent weeks. He has also discussed his relationship difficulties with his brother, Prince William.

The woman who is getting an education and moving ahead made a very prudent decision.

Harry is a kid and at this point the people who at one time gave the "kid" a break, no longer are going to really care about him or his attempt at an adult future. Harry, grow up fast and now. Even as a "boy toy" you are becoming exhausting and very high maintenance and those who at one time were "interested" in you have moved on to something more reliable.

I think he's very handsome and the ones who think otherwise must not have any relatives that are red heads?? I do not believe that he is a nazi either?? How many halloween costumes has anyone ever worn and have the whole world shame you for your choice as a youngster.

He served his country in Afhganistan when he didn't have to and he deserves respect for that. The military men and women do much for your country and the world to protect our lives at home.

I agree. What's the origin of Halloween and why people where costumes? To bluntly take on that of what you fear. Four years ago, I wore a makeshift of an Arab robe, does that make me favorable of the Arab royalty. I wore it out of despise and contempt for their social ineptness. Let Prince Harry be the energetic, kind, fun-loving icon he naturally is. He didn't ask to be born into royalty and he can't shun it. It does allow him to do the work he does in 3rd world countries. Look for the good in people and enjoy Harry's antics. He's not so far away from the mischief in the lot of us, given his age.
