Vogue Photoshopped Sienna Miller's Head Onto Different Body

Huffington Post   Danny Shea First Posted: 2/27/09 Updated: 5/25/11

"The September Issue," the new documentary about Vogue which screened at Sundance, has unearthed its first juicy tidbit: the magazine photoshopped Sienna Miller's head onto a different photo of her body, and Anna Wintour found the British actress "toothy" with too many fillings in her mouth.

The Daily Mirror's 3AM Girls report:

In a behind-the-scenes documentary, The September Issue, fearsome Vogue editor Anna Wintour claims Miller is too "toothy" and staff were worried she has "too many fillings" and "unruly hair"....

The documentary shows how the actress was airbrushed within an inch of her life for the shoot with famed photographer Mario Testino back in 2007. They then took one photo of her face and super-imposed it on a separate picture of her body.

The magazine released a statement praising Miller's beauty, saying, "While some retouching is a fact for any cover, no one is more convinced of Ms Miller's beauty than Vogue. 'The fact she's appeared on the magazine's September cover, our most important issue of the year, is a testimony to this truth."

Everyone needs to know that the pictures aren't real. That they're photoshopped for size 0 women (really, girls) to have even smaller wastes. It's all fictional, so don't sweat it!

If only they'd airbrushed that freakish looking Wintour into something that resembles normal.

Whats the shock?

It is her head and her body just from different photos, but most of us know that all photos or most in magazines are photoshopped. It would be a bigger story if another person's body was used, but it was hers - oh well whatever.

A photo-shopped image on the cover of a major magazine! How utterly SHOCKING!!!! Never heard that one before!

Vogue magazine...What a complete RAG! Nothing but an advertising venue for over-priced crap... Yeah, most women today can really afford to spend two thousand dollars on a skirt!

Face it Vogue, in these times, in this economy, your days are numbered anyway.

You know who's scary....................Wintour? Shiver. She needs to face the fact that she in NOT young, so she should stop trying to look like a 30-something. Why can't she try to look attractive for her age instead of someone 30 years her junior. She freaks me out.

Could we pull those brackets of hair away from Wintour's face to see what she is hiding? It's somewhat pathological for a fashion leader to keep a hairdo that really hasn't embraced fashion changes. Does she really think looking like a little dolly becomes a women of her age and rank ????? It's disturbing...like a compulsion or an obsession.

I think you have something here. She's been wearing that hair style for years!!! And the way she dresses for fashion shows leaves lots to be desired. She's the go to for fashion tips? I was never ever one of her sheep.

Doesn't this happen all the time? What's so surprising about this? Films use body doubles all the time.

I expect more from Vogue. This cover is so stupid looking. If you hadn't told me, I would have guessed it and wondered why they were too cheap to do a re-shoot.

...if you have to photoshop THAT much, honey, if that isn't a wake-up call I don't know what is. When you have to rearrange the entire face to make it presentable for a cover, that person does not deserve to be on the cover... hello?!?!

The point here is that there is nothing wrong with Sienna Miller. She is beautiful. There is something painfully wrong with the Editor in Cheif of Vogue, she is well documented as being unreasonable, and just b-ithcy. The Devil Wears Prada is about her.

What does being on the cover of Vogue doing for Miller? Someone please tell me because I can hardly guess.

The September issue was always my most fav issue that I would buy faithfully every year. But the onslaught of actress after actress as the cover model killed that desire for me. Actresses should be on the cover of gossip mags not fashion mags and the editors of those fashion mags should smell the stiletto and realize that is why their sales are going down. We are tired of actresses pretending to be models.
