Kid Offering View Of Obama's Chicago Home For $10
Obama's red-brick house in the Hyde Park/Kenwood neighborhood is protected by concrete barricades at either end of his block. Chicago police cars stand guard, humming, and signs warn that anyone going near is subject to a search.
But the barricades don't block Jonathan Wong's view. The 16-year-old junior at Whitney M. Young Magnet High School lives in a condo with a balcony that looks out on the Obama home. He said he has offered tourists a photo-op from his perch, asking for a small donation, like $10.
