Brad And Angelina Work The Japanese Junket (PHOTOS)

Days after landing in Japan with their six children in tow, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are hard at work. Thursday Brad Pitt's "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" premiered, and the power couple worked the red carpet along with director David Fincher.

Friday it was Angelina's turn at a press conference for her film "Changeling."

If people (AJolie fans included) didn't get a chance to see The Reader w/ Kate Winslet ... I highly recommend it.

I had already seen Ms. Jolie in Eastwood's "The Changeling" & thought she did well through most of the film ~ except for, a few parts that were uncharacteristic of Christine Collins ... such as her behavior in the mental hospital & the near-end climax scene where Mrs. Collins violently confronts her son's abductor/killer in what could be considered classic Angelina Jolie "Wanted" style, etc.).

But Kate Winslet's portrayal of a former SS guard on trial is incredible. I didn't know she had the range of acting that she revealed in this extraordinary Weinstein Bros. film; and Winslet's portrayal is far & beyond anything Jolie accomplished as a distraught mother in Changeling.

Kate should take home the Oscar(s) for Best Actress. Jolie is no contest there, IMHO.

Did anyone see the skit on Angelina Jolie on Saturday Night Live? It was a scream ... the SNL actress looked a lot like her (esp. with the brunette wig), and had her mannerisms down pat. So funny!

Seriously, I never think that AJolie is a beautiful woman. Many things come to mind.

Why does this woman traipse all around the world with her brood and upset their children's lives.
Is AJ afraid to leave Brad Pitt alone on his own? Is it that she remembers how she stole and broke up BPitt from his wonderful marrage to JAnnistion? Come on, Angie, you wanted a large family, act like a mother is to act.

I disagree. Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie knows how to sell herself in a sexy and/or charming way (she's learned from the best, I have no doubt) ... but that's not necessarily a smart thing, nor does it equate to real beauty, in my view.

I would have far more respect for Ms. Jolie as both a person & as a popular Hollywood star if she wouldn't fall into being seen or cast as a man-eater type; & instead kept her principles high ... even if it cost her a lot of desired money, over the years.
