White House lawyers want to control the use of the president's image, recognizing the worldwide fascination about Obama's election, First Amendment free-speech rights and easy access to videos and photos on the Web.

I think what bought this on was the exploitation of the little girls, Sasha and Milia. Notice that this transpired right after Ty Inc. tried to market the First Children which is absolutely wrong. We had Obama pictures and marketable cookies and everything in between and it never seemed to bother him. However, the dolls named after the two little girls did received some flack from the White House which led to this.. I don't blame them. I personally wrote to and called Ty Inc. and told them how I was offended by the exploitation of these children. No one ever made a doll resembling Chelsea Clinton when she was twelve or twenty. No one ever made a doll that was named after the Bush twins. No one ever made a doll after Amy Carter who was nine years of age when President Carter was in the White House. I suspect if this gross marketing technique had not been employed..­.there would never had been a legal avenue sought to stop this from continuing. Even when there were waffles named after Obama or racist products named after him with food stamps and watermelon on displayed with his name...Oba­ma never tried to stop it...trust me it has to do with his children and Ty Inc. is to blame for their poor taste mingled with greed.

All this fuss over Obama! I never really understood my compulsion, my obsession with our president. When I meditate with my new mantra “ooo-bammm-aa, ooo-bammm-aa” I find inner peace, less despair and self-actualization. Does this mean that I can’t sleep on my Obama warm flannel sheets, have my morning coffee in my Obama coffee mug with Obama non-dairy creamer, wear my Obama underwear and tee-shirt, hold-up my pants with my official Obama belt buckle, use my Oral–B. Obama electric tooth brush, wear my 24-carot gold Obama presidential lapel pin, use my ASUS Obama notebook computer with Obama wallpaper on the desktop, hear Obama ring tones on my cell phone, hang Obama lithographs in my office, wear my Obama eyeglass frames, have an Obama burger for lunch, wear my Nike Obama basketball shoes, and prepare dinner in my non-stick Obama pans? I play with my Obama-in-the box for hours. I thought the administration wants to promote spending.
