Two health care organizations, including the state's largest union, are beginning a multi-million dollar political campaign opposing David Paterson's proposed cuts to hospitals and nursing homes.
"It is clear that we have our backs to the wall," said Kenneth Raske, president of the Greater New York Hospital Association, at a press conference to unveil the campaign. "It's with a heavy heart that we have to do this."

Wrong, the Union is trying to save the jobs for over 10,000 of their membership who will be laid off if the budget cuts take effect.

Looks like Paterson will suffer a similar fate that his counterpart Blago had in Illinois, except the voters will take care of Paterson instead of the NY legislature.

Today Gillibrand did a 180 on her anti-immigration stances, just like a month ago she did a 180 on her anti-gay stances. What does this woman stand for? Is there any belief she won't discard out of political expediency? Can we expect her to stand by anything she says she stands for? Or does she talk out of both sides of her mouth? Is she trustworthy about anything?
