Hilary Duff Slams Faye Dunaway's Looks (VIDEO)

Hilary Duff has hit out at Faye Dunaway's looks in an interview with E! News. The fracas began when a remake of "Bonnie and Clyde" was announced, starring Duff, 21.


Dunaway, 68, who starred with Warren Beatty in the 1967 original, was quoted in the Chicago Sun-Times January 28th as having said, "Couldn't they at least cast a real actress?"


Now Duff, asked by E! about Dunaway's supposed comments, has responded by insulting her appearance.


"I think that my fans that are going to go see the movie don't even know who she is, so you know, uh, I think it was a little unnecessary but I might be mad if I looked like that now too."

Rather than try and refute Faye Dunaway's assertion that she isn't an actress, Hilary Duff attacked Faye's age and looks. Which proves that Hilary can't defend her acting, and really who could? and that she's extremely shallow. Ironically­, she's also rather plain-look­ing, and downright homely compared to Faye when she was younger.

Why are so many people agreeing with Faye Dunaway's unwarrante­d, mean spirited remarks? It's like she had a "Mommy Dearest" flashback. Hilary Duff is not producing this movie. She is a 21 year old, former teen star trying to work!

Dunaway pretty much forced this young woman to retaliate. It was probably a defense mechanism to cope with her hurt feelings. It would be different if Hilary, Beyonce, and the other young stars were openly disrespect­ing these iconic stars, but this is just uncalled for. These aged stars need to take note of how Ray Charles and Jamie Foxx worked together. Mutual admiration and respect for each others generation­.

I have to agree with Faye Dunaway. Hillary Duff - really! when was the last acting job she did that was seen by anybody outside of the Disney Channel crowd and ABC Family. She does looks somewhat like a you Faye but Faye was so much prettier than Hillary. She just does not have the acting chops. As for the rude comments, they were both wrong.

She's way too into herself or at least way too into pretending to be into herself. Faye Dunaway was a hottie as Hillary's age and for many years after. Oh, and did I forget to mention a great actress??? Hillary is no hottie....­..not by a long shot. And saying Hillary and 'actress' in the same sentence is oxymoronic­.

It is hard thing, this getting older and less important, but it happens to all of us. Faye D. and Etta J. are both two brilliantl­y talented women whose time has passed. They both are the creators of classics and it hurts when you know someone is going to redo your identifyin­g art. Hillary Duff is no Faye Dunaway and Beyonce is no Etta James for sure, but they younger and the new is in and the old is out.

Both of the actresses are out of line. Dunaway still looks good at her age; but I admire Hillary Duff for the things she has not done - I have never seen in print where she has partied, stolen, drank, been in rehab etc. True, she has not had much acting experience - but by some of your standards, she would never get any.
No one has a real crystal ball to see into the future - so those of you blasting Hillary Duff as looking UGLY at Faye's age don't really know. Perhaps she was reacting out of disappoint­ment at the fact that the great Fay Dunaway made an ugly remark - we are talking about a legend here! I don't know why they are remaking films though. Sometimes once is enough! Who was cast as Clyde, by the way? How would you react if it is someone you 'like' and Warren Beatty made a snotty remark as Dunaway did????
