Hillary Jokes: "I Sometimes Totally Forget" I Ran For President

Secretary of State Clinton seemed to charm State Department employees today in her first town hall meeting as Secretary of State -- mixing serious business with some humor. Clinton described the gathering as "the latest of my listening tours," a reference to her days as a candidate for the Senate in New York.

So does the nation Hillary. It's not about you. Just check your amble ego, keep Bill out of trouble, do what Obama tells you, and let his real foreign policy advisors (Biden, Susan Rice, and Samantha POWER run the show.

So great to see Hillary Clinton joking and having a good time again while president Obama is aweating his A$$ off. Mr. president, your inexperience is showing and only after 14 days in office. Why didn't you get your cabinet confirmed and then make your holier-than-thou speech?
It's ironic that Hillary Clinton was easier to get confirmed than the people who critized her in the primaries.

For some unexplainable reason,when I first saw this article title yesterday through my HP FF theme I thought the joke was about that sniper fire in Bosnia. I decided it would be too uncomfortable to actually watch her joking about this unfortunate event and not to click on it. I'm not sure how I got there today but I still am not so sure about this "joke". Although I can understand why she'd want to forget this whole debacle ever happen.

She can forget the Bullets in Bosnia episode, but it is very reflective of her lack of integrity. Hillary is about Hillary and will say or do anything she thinks will benefit her, and sometimes it backfires, big time.

The problem is Hillary is not honest and genuine. She calculates her "personality" for personal advantage and it is so transparent. People don't trust her and rejected her as a presidential candidate.

Because she is Mrs. Bill Clinton, she now has a major consulation prize, to keep her out of Obama's way Her job is to keep Bill Clinton out of trouble (good luck with that), so that Obama's real foreign policy team ( Joe Biden, Susan Rice and Samatha Fox) can work without Clinton distractions.

So far, Hillary and Bill have been defeated for the presidency, an neutralized in the their influencing peddling abroad. Obama knows what he is doing.

I normally agree with your comments. They are always insightful and spot on.
But don't understand this one.
I might be able to see that putting H. in the Cabinet controls whatever machinations she might have used to disrupt Obama's presidency( of course--with no fingerprints)--but how does her new position "neutralize" their influence peddling abroad? Doesn't her new role enhance their sphere of influence? Or do you really believe that any so-called watchdogs can curtail what has essentially become the C linton International personal enrichment program.
