You need to do what we did! We had full media coverage each day of more of this happening, who and how much and plant spa weekend junkets in the media. the public outrage has helped. Some trips, palnes were canceled. Investigations have begun. Phone calls and public outrage is needed!

It is totally time for the pitchforks and torches. Governments by and large are in cahoots with these financial institutions. We are fools to think that governments intend to engender fundamental changes in how they operate or their larcenous ways.

RBS just more than doubled my APR on their credit card. I called their customer service about it and they said it was raised on everyone. And here they are, the pigs at the trough. I hope their bank goes under.

It's really not a right or left issue. It is a them and us issue.

How is getting the government to pay for their excesses a management failure? They deserve their bonuses for sheer executive brilliance under trying circumstances.

"Executive brilliance" is worthless. These people are paid to maintain the bottom line. That is their primary duty.

This is another of those banks with the deeply ironic names.

They do business in the US as "Citizens Bank".

Citizens Bank is a brand name of RBS Citizens, N.A. and Citizens Bank of Pennsylvania. Citizens Bank is a division of RBS Citizens, N.A. and Citizens Bank accounts and other RBS Citizens, N.A. accounts are not separately insured by the FDIC!

don`t you just wonder if some of the Paulson bail-out money wasn`t funneled over to the U.K. for this---??? Maybe thats why they arent`t telling the American tax payers where the 350 Billion really went---who knows.

Sounds like legalized theft to me! A continuation of the "pay management high salaries" regardless of success or failure. You reward people if they fail and darned if you don't get what you paid for. That mindset is part of what got us in this mess. Are we going to raise the wages for those who fail and expect anything different? Be interested to hear if anyone thinks that we will see anything different and why.....

And why are WE bailing out the RBoS? Are you serious?

How much more clear can it be that we've been so ripped off and no one is doing anything about it.
