Holly Madison Quits Playboy Job: Both Routine & Awkward

First she quit Hef, now Holly Madison is out at Playboy!

"I quit for several reasons," the 29-year-old -- who served as the magazine's "Playmate Editor" -- blogged on her Celebrity MySpace page Wednesday night under the title "Annoying!!!!"...

Madison also says she "no longer found it challenging" finding the babes to fill Playboy's pages.

"It got to be routine, which was sad for me, since I was initially so passionate about the job and the creative aspects involved," she says.

Plus working with her ex "was awkward. Not that anyone tried to make it awkward or didn't treat me fairly...it just was."

I can see how she would think that the job is routine as Playboy only seems to feature a certain 'type' of woman. I would get tired of it too. I also think she's growing up. She wants more from life and there may have been a time in her life where being one of Hef's many was ok for her. Now she's realizing there is a shelf life on her fertility and it's time to stop playing around. It just sound to me like she's a woman who wants way more from her life and I get it. Good for you!

a very good friend of mine posed for playboy when she was 19. i could go into all the reasons why, i.e. no father, male acceptance, male attention, etc. that women is now 45, and no she's not blonde, yes she is all natural, and yes, she looks like 32, and when we walk into a room heads turn. she dresses very conservative, is 5'7" weighs 122, and unless she told you, you would never know she had posed. she does not have the typical bimbo look. we have had many long conversations about why she posed in the first place, and would she do it again. the answer is 'no'.

I didnt think she was scorned. She just 'grew' up out of the 'teenager' that Hef apparently desires in his women. She woke up, smelled the coffee and realized what she wanted was 'more'...like most women who desire a husband who is faithful, a home of her own, and children to love and nurture. She had made her desires plain to Hef, and made them public..and she finally weighed in on what was most important.­.continuin­g a 'charade' at a relationship, or moving on..She chose to move on..

As far as Hef and Holly's relationship...hey, they both got what they wanted out of it at the time..He got a beautiful woman to adorn his life, and she got financial gain as well as employment.

Like all things in life..it evolved into something different and she wanted to move on. I have no doubt that Hef would have continued it until he died...which probably wont be too much longer considering how bad he looks...
