The Obama family took their first trip on Marine One for an overnight stay at Camp David on Saturday.
The whole family, including First Lady Michelle Obama's mother Marian Robinson, daughters Sasha and Malia and a friend of Sasha's, boarded the helicopter on the White House South Lawn Saturday afternoon. They took off shortly before 4 pm.
This is the Obamas first stay at Camp David at well. They are planning to return Sunday.
Walking across the lawn the President said to the press, "Nice day, huh?"
Friday night the family enjoyed an evening at the Kennedy Center watching an Alvin Ailey dance performance.
