I Like ItI Don’t Like It

Last week, a reporter at the "New York Times" wrote about a new type of Boron crystal and innocently, yet incorrectly, said that the element can take on three different forms. Apparently, Boron (being a master of disguise) can actually appear in FOUR different forms.

When the "Times" issued its correction, O'Brien freaked out on Late Night saying:

"What the hell, 'New York Times'? Three phases of Boron? What Kind of half-assed paper you running over there?"

Hell no. Once Leno is gone, I'll start watching late night again. Conan is hilarious. Although, I've been watching Craig more and more. That man is a genius.

Seriously? This clip didn't make you laugh? This is comedy gold, my friend.

Leno couldn't make jokes about the phases of boron because he's not just not that funny. He needs really good material to work with and lacks the depth or versatility to pull off a skit like this. Conan can do this. Furgeson could do this. But not Leno.

That was hiiilarious! LOL--literally. Oooh! New internet acronym: LLOL for "literally laugh out loud" as opposed to LOL for "laugh out loud (inside my head)."

That's what happens when a paper becomes a propaganda tool for ghost writers from pseudo-intellectual think tanks.

Um...let me just make sure I understand the statement you just made...

"That's what happens when a paper becomes a propaganda tool for ghost writers from pseudo-intellectual think tanks...they make inconsequential mistakes regarding the polymorphic forms of the chemical element Boron. How dare they intentionally leave out the orthorhombic symmetry lattice y-B28 form and only make note of the rhombohedral and tetragonal boronic forms! ITS ALL PART OF THEIR DAMNED LIBERAL CONSPIRACY TO PROMOTE ATHEISM AND GLOBAL WARMING! AAAAH!

Riiiiiight.

I'm pretty sure he meant that comment facetiously.

I mean, I hope at least.
