CNN:

Could Terry McAuliffe's hefty bank account backfire against him in the Virginia's governor's race? That's certainly what one of his Democratic rivals is hoping

At the Democratic Party of Virginia's annual Jefferson-Jackson dinner on Saturday, McAuliffe got an earful from former House member Brian Moran, who implied that the onetime DNC chairman is trying to buy the governor's mansion by tapping his rolodex of national donors.

McAuliffe is nothing but a DINO bagman, and as morally repugnant as any war profiteer.

Watching the Democratic Party being taken over by hoodlums is gut wrenching.

Moran is right and he called it exactly the way he saw it. And the way others see it. McAulliffe only can connect to a small base of the Democratic party. This will cost us the seat. He was a FAILURE as the head of the DNC. Raising record sums of money does not create victories and we just plain LOST seats under his guidance. Go back to the cocktail parties Terry.

I've told the pollsters and campaign workers for his campaign to erase my number from their call lists. I volunteered many hours during the primaries and general, but I still cannot stomach McAuliffe and his tactics. I'm not there yet - and doubt I will be. There are other good candidates that truly put VA first, so I will active work to oppose McAuliffe in this cycle - just as hard as I worked to support Obama in the last. (grumble, grumble!)

What relationship does McAullife have to Virginia politics. I live in Virginia and did not even know he lived here until he announced he was running for Gov. The only reason he lives in VA is because of its proximity to DC and he is a DC insider. McAuliffe would sell this state out to the highest bidder.

McAullife has the support of Fox News, he said they were the most Fair and Balanced News Network during Hillary's run for the White House :)

Well if anything disqualifies him the 'support of fox news' should do it.

Many people haven't forgotten McAuliffe's performance last year for Clinton-
McAuliffe's represents the "elites" of the party
not the "commoners".
McAuliffe's won't be able to use old tactics or buy
his way into the job.

McAullife doesn't even need his rich donor buddies, he made 19 million on one stock transaction alone. How does Brian Moran think things work anyway, does he raise funds through bake sales ?

Wow, 19 million. He's doing what any other politician would do in this position. Deep pocket resourcing!

What stock did that transaction involve? Any insider trading going on there?
