The tagline of the latest Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition is "Bikinis or Nothing." There are certainly a lot of bikinis inside--on covergirl Bar Refaeli, on race car driver Danica Patrick, on NBA dancers, and on tennis players like Daniela Hantuchova and Maria Kirilenko--but there's also a lot of nothing.

These are beautiful! I'm a straight female, but as an artist I really appreciated these.

I wonder, were the models bodypainted and photographed, or were they photographed and the body paint photoshopped? Think about that before all you guys switch professions. You might end up body painting a computer image. Still, there's worse work, right?

As a "regular" woman, I think that would be pretty cool, to be body painted! I'd definitely do it if an artist wanted to jazz up everyday women for an exhibit.

I just had to take a look, lol. And I can honestly say that I am impressed. Really. I was figuring this was nothing short of eye candy, but I was wrong. Some very interesting designs/artwork to be sure. Not sure the guys could still tell me the color of their eyes tho, lol.

I like the design on Brooklyn Decker most. Love the look of the rope, along with the globe/map/sea charts thing. Even tho she's apparently not got anything covering her mountains, I still find that to be a very cool looking bodypaint. Tho all look fantastic and dare I say, realistic. If I was passing by on the beach, I'd probably be unaware it was bodypaint.

I body painted a date for a party. Just a fake tube top. She wore a sheer white blouse over it, unbuttoned down to the navel.
It looked great and was fun to do. It was fun to watch people talking with her at the party then watching their face as it slowly dawns on them they are staring right at real breasts.

i knew a lady who did body painting for hire. she would be hired for private parties, and after a few cocktails all the ladies would get painted for their dates and strut around. tried being her assistant, but no dice.
